Medical and Insurance. During the Term, the Executive and the Executive’s dependents shall be eligible to participate in all insurance, welfare, retirement savings and disability benefit plans, practices, policies and programs as are maintained by the Company from time to time, and subject to the terms and eligibility requirements of such plans, practices, policies and programs. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Company reserves the right to modify, change, or terminate any particular welfare or benefit plan, practice, program or policy in its sole discretion.

The Company may, after investigation, continue to pay and the Company portion of Life Insurance,Dental Plan and Drug Plan premiums beyond the twelve (12) months specified above for an employee who suffers a compensable injury and is in receipt of Workplace Safety and Insurance Board benefits. If an employee ceases to draw benefits but is not capable of returning to work will be eligible to apply for benefits under the present benefit program. Where a surviving spouse and dependents of a deceased employee are not covered by such plans by reasons of their own employment, the company will extend the coverage under the medical-surgical plan, the extended health benefit plan and the dental plan for a period of six (6) months, commencing on the first of the month following the month in which the death occurs.

The insurance covers emergency treatment and hospitalization up to CHF 1,000,000.00, for death up to CHF 50,000.00, invalidity CHF 100,000.00 and in case of assistance and repatriation the full travel costs will be covered upon receipt of original receipts.   • Liability and Insurance 7.1 Workers’ Compensation Insurance. The Contractor shall maintain workers’ compensation insurance as required under the Florida Workers’ Compensation Law or the workers’ compensation law of another jurisdiction where applicable. The Contractor must require all subcontractors to similarly provide workers’ compensation insurance for all of the latter’s employees. In the event work is being performed by the Contractor under the Contract and any class of employees performing the work is not protected under Workers’ Compensation statutes, the Contractor must provide, and cause each subcontractor to provide, adequate insurance satisfactory to the Department, for the protection of employees not otherwise protected.
