Ministerial Positions. Green Party Members of Parliament will hold the following Ministerial positions: Climate Change, Associate Finance, Conservation, Women, Land Information New Zealand, Associate Environment, Statistics, Associate Transport, Associate Health and an Undersecretary to the Minister of Justice (Domestic and Sexual Violence). A Minister from the Green Party will be represented on the Cabinet Appointments and Honours Committee (APH) and the Cabinet Legislation Committee. Ministers from the Green Party will also be represented on other Cabinet Committees as agreed between the Party Leaders.

Ministerial Positions. New Zealand First will have four Ministers inside Cabinet, including Rt Hon Xxxxxxx Xxxxxx as Deputy Prime Minister, and one Parliamentary Under-Secretary.
Ministerial Positions. The Co-Leaders of the Maori Party, Xx Xxxx Xxxxxxxx and Hon Xxxxxxx Xxxxx, will be appointed to ministerial positions outside Cabinet. This is the preference of the Maori Party. The Maori Party and the National Party agree to allocate these positions with agreed formally delegated and defined responsibilities in areas in which the Maori Party seeks significant advancement over the next three years. The Maori Party seeks significant outcomes in whanau ora, through eliminating poverty, advocating for social justice, and advancing Maori social, cultural, economic and community development in the best interests of the nation. These ministerial positions will confer on the Maori Party Co-leaders control over significant areas of responsibility within their portfolios, along with Associate Minister responsibilities, including service delivery, departmental support and funding, as agreed by the parties. Xx Xxxxxxxx will be appointed Minister of Maori Affairs, Associate Minister of Education and Associate Minister of Corrections. Hon Xxxxxxx Xxxxx will be appointed Minister for the Community and Voluntary Sector, Associate Minister of Health and Associate Minister of Social Development and Employment. Both parties undertake to work constructively to ensure that the relationships between Ministers, their Associates and the relevant departmental Chief Executives develop in a positive manner. The two parties both have policy priorities and there are areas of commonality and other areas of difference. The National Party and the Maori Party will work together to progress these priorities as and where agreement can be found. The policy priorities of the National Party and of the Maori Party are attached as a schedule to this document.
Ministerial Positions. The Leader of New Zealand First will be appointed to a ministerial position outside Cabinet. Portfolios will be agreed between the Prime Minister and the Leader of New Zealand First. New Zealand First agrees to fully represent the government position and be bound by Cabinet Manual provisions in respect of any areas within the portfolio responsibility of the Leader of New Zealand First and to support all areas which are matters of confidence and supply. The Government has agreed to: • Develop a Seniors Card able to be used to identify the holder’s eligibility for all public sector entitlements, and which is capable of also being used for claiming negotiated commercial discounts. • Ensure that the rate of New Zealand Superannuation is set at 66 per cent of the average ordinary time weekly earnings as from 1 April 2006. • Agree that better recognition can be given to veterans of active overseas service and investigate the best way of achieving that. • Investigate ways to improve options for senior citizens who may be eligible for foreign pensions as well as New Zealand Superannuation. • Address the issue of elder care as a matter of priority in the 2006 budget.

She will continue to have Associate Ministerial responsibilities in the areas of Social Development and Employment. These Ministerial positions will be outside Cabinet. Hon Xxxxxxx Xxxxx will be on Cabinet Committees, including Social Policy, Appointments and Honours and Treaty of Waitangi.

  • Non-Ministerial Matters (i) With respect to matters that in the reasonable judgment of the Administrator are non-ministerial, the Administrator shall not take any action unless within a reasonable time before the taking of such action the Administrator shall have notified the Indenture Trustee or the Owner Trustee, as applicable, of the proposed action and the Indenture Trustee or the Owner Trustee, as applicable, shall not have withheld consent or provided an alternative direction. For the purpose of the preceding sentence, “non-ministerial matters” shall include, without limitation: (A) the amendment of the Indenture or execution of any supplement to the Indenture; (B) the initiation of any claim or lawsuit by the Issuer and the compromise of any action, claim or lawsuit brought by or against the Issuer (other than in connection with the collection of the Receivables); (C) the amendment, change or modification of any of the Basic Documents; (D) the appointment of successor Note Registrars, successor Paying Agents or successor Indenture Trustees pursuant to the Indenture or the appointment of successor Administrators or Successor Servicers, or the consent to the assignment by the Note Registrar, Paying Agent or Indenture Trustee of its obligations, under the Indenture; and (E) the removal of the Indenture Trustee (as to which the Owner Trustee, but not the Indenture Trustee, will receive notice and opportunity to object). (ii) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, the Administrator shall not be obligated to, and shall not, (x) make any payments to the Noteholders under the Basic Documents, (y) sell the Trust Estate pursuant to Section 5.04 of the Indenture or (z) take any other action that the Issuer directs the Administrator not to take on its behalf.

  • Scope of Delegated Responsibilities (a) SELECTION OF ELIGIBLE FOREIGN CUSTODIANS. Subject to the provisions of this Section 3.2, the Foreign Custody Manager may place and maintain the Foreign Assets in the care of the Eligible Foreign Custodian selected by the Foreign Custody Manager in each country listed on Schedule A, as amended from time to time. In performing its delegated responsibilities as Foreign Custody Manager to place or maintain Foreign Assets with an Eligible Foreign Custodian, the Foreign Custody Manager shall determine that the Foreign Assets will be subject to reasonable care, based on the standards applicable to custodians in the country in which the Foreign Assets will be held by that Eligible Foreign Custodian, after considering all factors relevant to the safekeeping of such assets, including, without limitation the factors specified in Rule 17f-5(c)(1).

  • Administrative Responsibilities Client shall be responsible for orienting Consultant to Client’s policies and procedures regarding the submission of any requisite paperwork which must be tendered for reimbursement by funding entities such as Medicare, Medicaid, or health insurance. Such paperwork may include, but is not limited to, patient care plans, comprehensive patient histories, individual education plans, or Client specific program plans. During the contracted assignment, should Consultant fail to submit paperwork as required per Client’s policies and procedures, Client must notify ProCare in writing within three (3) business days of alleged failure. Failure to notify ProCare before assignment ends shall negate any Client claim to withhold payment due to untimely work and/or paperwork non-compliance by Consultant. Client agrees that all approved time sheets by Client’s assigned representative are not subjected to billing dispute if Client fails to notify ProCare of time sheet and work performed discrepancies.

  • Employer Responsibilities Recognizing the inherent risk(s) in a correctional setting, the Employer is obligated to provide a safe workplace and to educate employees on proper safety procedures and use of protective and safety equipment. The Employer is committed to responding to legitimate safety concerns raised by the Union and employees. The Employer will comply with federal and state safety standards, including requirements relating to first aid training, first aid equipment and the use of protective devices and equipment.

  • MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 6.01 Except to the extent provided herein, this Agreement in no way restricts the authority of those charged with managerial responsibilities in the public service.

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply. (b) An equal number of representatives of each party as mutually agreed shall meet at a time and place mutually satisfactory. A request for a meeting hereunder will be made in writing prior to the date proposed and accompanied by an agenda of matters proposed to be discussed, which shall not include matters that are properly the subject of grievance or negotiations for the amendment or renewal of this agreement. Any representative(s) attending such meetings during their regularly scheduled hours of work shall not lose regular earnings as a result of such attendance. (c) It is agreed that the topic of a rehabilitation program for drug and alcohol abuse is an appropriate topic for the Labour-Management Committee. It is also agreed that the topic of the utilization of full-time and part-time staff is an appropriate topic for the Labour-Management Committee. The committee shall have access to work schedules and job postings upon request. (d) It is understood that joint meetings with other Labour-Management Committees in the Hospital may be scheduled concerning issues of mutual interest if satisfactory to all concerned. (e) Where two or more agreements exist between a Hospital and CUPE the Committee may be a joint one representing employees under both agreements, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Requester and Approved User Responsibilities The Requester agrees through the submission of the DAR that the PI named has reviewed and understands the principles for responsible research use and data management of the genomic datasets as defined in the NIH Security Best Practices for Controlled-Access Data Subject to the GDS Policy. The Requester and Approved Users further acknowledge that they are responsible for ensuring that all uses of the data are consistent with national, tribal, and state laws and regulations, as appropriate, as well as relevant institutional policies and procedures for managing sensitive genomic and phenotypic data. The Requester certifies that the PI is in good standing (i.e., no known sanctions) with the institution, relevant funding agencies, and regulatory agencies and is eligible to conduct independent research (i.e., is not a postdoctoral fellow, student, or trainee). The Requester and any Approved Users may use the dataset(s) only in accordance with the parameters described on the study page and in the 1 If contractor services are to be utilized, PI requesting the data must provide a brief description of the services that the contractor will perform for the PI (e.g., data cleaning services) in the research use statement of the DAR. Additionally, the Key Personnel section of the DAR must include the name of the contractor’s employee(s) who will conduct the work. Through the submission of this DAR, the Requester and Approved Users acknowledge receiving and reviewing a copy of the Addendum which includes Data Use Limitation(s) for each dataset requested. The Requester and Approved Users agree to comply with the terms listed in the Addendum. Through submission of the DAR, the PI and Requester agree to submit a Project Renewal or Project Close-out prior to the expiration date of the one (1) year data access period. The PI also agrees to submit an annual Progress Update prior to the one (1) year anniversary2 of the project, as described under Research Use Reporting (Term 10) below. By approving and submitting the attached DAR, the Institutional Signing Official provides assurance that relevant institutional policies and applicable local, state, tribal, and federal laws and regulations, as applicable, have been followed, including IRB approval, if required. Approved Users may be required to have IRB approval if they have access to personal identifying information for research participants in the original study at their institution, or through their collaborators. The Institutional Signing Official also assures, through the approval of the DAR, that other institutional departments with relevant authorities (e.g., those overseeing human subjects research, information technology, technology transfer) have reviewed the relevant sections of the NIH GDS Policy and the associated procedures and are in agreement with the principles defined. The Requester acknowledges that controlled-access datasets subject to the NIH GDS Policy may be updated to exclude or include additional information. Unless otherwise indicated, all statements herein are presumed to be true and applicable to the access and use of all versions of these datasets.
