Movement on the Salary Guide. When applying for a lateral move on the salary guide, there are three submission deadlines: October 10th – Movement on the guide retroactive to October 1 February 10th – Movement on the guide retroactive to February 1 July 10th – Movement on the guide retroactive to July 1.

Movement on the Salary Guide. (1) In Year 1 of the agreement, the Board of Education shall approve horizontal movement on the salary guide due to educational credits attained by October 1, 2010 or January 1, 2011 with salary retroactive to September 1, 2010 or January 1, 2011.
Movement on the Salary Guide. When a member of the professional staff acquires a Masters Degree or a Doctorate conferred by a college or university whose courses are acceptable to the New Jersey Board of Education, or acquires thirty (30) credits beyond the Bachelors Degree or thirty (30) credits beyond the Masters Degree, the member shall be placed on the proper column of the salary guide. The Superintendent of Schools will recommend this adjustment to the Board of Education when the employee presents final proof of such degree. Movement to the new column shall take place 60 days after Board approval with retroactivity to date of submission of appropriate paperwork. Informal transcript is acceptable to begin timeline for placement.

  • Placement on the Salary Schedule All teachers shall be placed on the appropriate step in the salary schedule taking into consideration the following:

  • Placement on Salary Schedule The following rules shall be applicable in determining placement of a teacher on the appropriate salary schedule:

  • Payment on Termination If an employee is terminated after the end of a year of employment, the employee is deemed to have been given any untaken leave from the date of termination and shall be paid for that leave accordingly. The employee shall also be paid for any public holidays falling within the period of leave in addition to payment for the leave. If an employee is terminated before the end of a full year of employment, the employee shall be paid pro-rata annual leave based on the period of service.

  • Salary Grids Classifications and salary rates are attached as Schedule "A" and forms part of this Collective Agreement. The years referred to in the salary schedules shall mean years of continuous service with the Employer in the designated classification, plus the applicable allowances under 23.04. Years of service on the new grid may not relate to the employee’s service level as a result of April 1, 2007 harmonization of the grids and blending the bargaining units.
