Mutual Pledge Sample Clauses
Mutual Pledge. In consideration of the hours, wages, and conditions of employment established by this Agreement, and the recognition that the grievance procedure herein established is the means by which grievances concerning its interpretation or application may be peacefully resolved, the parties hereby pledge that during its term the Union and the employees will not engage in, instigate, or condone any strike, work stoppage, or any concerted refusal to perform work duties on the part of any employee covered by this Agreement and the Employer will not engage in, instigate, or condone any lockout of the employees covered by this Agreement.
Mutual Pledge. Both the City and the Union desire a workplace that is free from all forms of illegal discrimination. Accordingly, both parties agree to support and work together to enforce the City’s non-discrimination policy (as specified in Section 5.2, below) and eliminate illegal discrimination from the workplace.
Mutual Pledge. In accordance with all applicable Federal and State law, neither party will discriminate against any employee based on age, sex, marital status, race, color, creed, national origin, disability, religion, sexual orientation, political affiliation, union activity, membership or non-membership in the union. The Union shall share equally with the Employer, the responsibility for applying this provision of the Agreement.
Mutual Pledge. The Employer and the Union agree that the safety and health of all employees are matters of importance and each will cooperate in an effort to prevent injury.
Mutual Pledge. The Company and the Union pledge themselves:
(a) To give each other fullest cooperation to the end that harmonious relations may be maintained in the interest of both employer and employee;
(b) The Company and the Union agree to cooperate fully with each other in the maintenance of discipline.
Mutual Pledge. 601 The Employer and the Association do hereby affirm that they shall not engage in any activity contrary to the provisions of the Public Employees Fair Employment Act, Civil Service Law.
