Māori Immersion Teaching Allowance (XXXX. (a) All full-time teachers (including provisionally registered teachers and teachers with a Limited Authority to Teach but excluding non-registered teachers), required to use Te Reo in Māori immersion classes at levels one, two or three as defined in Schedule 1 of this Agreement shall receive additional salary at the rate of a unit.
Māori Immersion Teaching Allowance (XXXX. 3.17.1 All teachers, as defined in clause 1.6.14, required to teach in te Reo Māori immersion classes at levels one, two or three as defined in Schedule 1 to this Agreement shall receive an allowance of $4,000 per annum. This is in addition to the allowance described in clause 3.17(a). This allowance shall be pro-rated for part time teachers (based on the teacher’s total hours). From the start of the 2017 school year, for all teachers, as defined in clause 1.6.14, required to teach in te Reo Māori immersion classes at level one who have more than six continuous years’ service teaching in level one Māori immersion classes the additional allowance described in clause 3.17(b) shall increase to $4,000 per annum. This is in addition to the allowance described in clause 3.17(a). This allowance shall be pro-rated for part time teachers (based on the teacher’s total hours). The employer shall attest to the eligibility of teachers for these allowances according to the levels of te Reo Māori immersion outlined in Schedule 1 of this agreement. For clarity continuous service for the payment of the allowance in (b) and (c) above shall be interrupted but not broken by any periods of unpaid leave and/or breaks in teaching service and/or teaching service in classes other than Māori immersion level one.

A teacher is eligible for an allowance described in 3.17(c) if they meet the minimum teaching time requirements in that clause and have the language proficiency necessary to teach the curriculum in te reo Māori for the period required by the language immersion level in which they are engaged. All teachers who teach te reo Māori immersion classes at levels one, two or three shall receive the allowance that relates to the highest language Level in which they are teaching and their years of service at that level as provided for in the table below. A teacher can only receive one allowance i.e., they cannot receive a Level 1, a Level 2, and/or a Level 3 allowance concurrently. The employer will advise when a change of circumstances alters the allowance a teacher is eligible to receive. Service for the payment of the Level 2 allowance shall include any periods of teaching service in Māori immersion Level 1 or Level 2. Service for the payment at Level 1 shall include any teaching service at Level 1 Māori immersion only.

  • Site Allowance Procedure 18.1 This procedure shall apply to construction work in the commercial/industrial sector of the building industry in the State of Victoria.   • Service Core Allowance The company shall pay $0.95 per hour for all work carried out in construction of service core. This allowance will be adjusted annually (effective from 1 June) in accordance with CPI movements (All Groups, Melbourne) for the preceding 12 months to March (increases to be rounded to the nearest 5 cents).

  • First Aid Allowance An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. John's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 if appointed by their employer to perform first aid duty.

  • STATEWIDE ACHIEVEMENT TESTING When CONTRACTOR is an NPS, per implementation of Senate Bill 484, CONTRACTOR shall administer all Statewide assessments within the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (“CAASP”), Desired Results Developmental Profile (“DRDP”), California Alternative Assessment (“CAA”), achievement and abilities tests (using LEA-authorized assessment instruments), the Fitness Gram with the exception of the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (“ELPAC”) to be completed by the LEA, and as appropriate to the student, and mandated by XXX xxxxxxxx to LEA and state and federal guidelines. CONTRACTOR is subject to the alternative accountability system developed pursuant to Education Code section 52052, in the same manner as public schools. Each LEA student placed with CONTRACTOR by the LEA shall be tested by qualified staff of CONTRACTOR in accordance with that accountability program. XXX shall provide test administration training to CONTRACTOR’S qualified staff. CONTRACTOR shall attend LEA test training and comply with completion of all coding requirements as required by XXX.

  • Safety Boot Allowance ‌ Effective January 1, 2022, except for temporary and probationary employees, the Employer agrees to pay one hundred and eighty-five dollars ($185.00) in January of each year towards the cost of safety boots for each full time employee requiring them and one hundred ($100.00) dollars for each part time employee requiring them under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and/or by the Employer, provided the Employee is not eligible for safety footwear through the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance ‌ An employee who works two and one-half hours of overtime immediately before or following his/her scheduled hours of work shall receive a meal allowance of seven dollars. One-half hour with pay shall be allowed the employee in order that he/she may take a meal break either at or adjacent to his/her place of work.
