National Steering Committee. The Recipient, through the MAFFS, shall maintain throughout Project implementation, the National Steering Committee under terms of reference satisfactory to the Association and vested with responsibility for providing policy guidance and for overseeing Parts 1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 2, 3.1(b), 3.2, 3.3 and 4(ii) of the Project. The National Steering Committee shall be chaired by the Recipient’s Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Security (or his/her designee) and its composition shall include representatives from the government, stakeholders, farmers and the private sector. The National Steering Committee shall meet at least twice each Fiscal Year to undertake, inter alia, the review and approval of the draft AWP&B and the approval of the annual report to be prepared by the Project Coordinator not later than October 31 each year to follow-up on, and assess the progress in, the carrying out of the precedent AWP&B.
National Steering Committee. The Recipient shall maintain at all times until the completion of the Project, a national steering committee (the National Steering Committee) with a composition, mandate and resources satisfactory to the Association to be responsible for Project oversight, including inter alia: providing conceptual and strategic guidance to the implementing agencies for Project design, implementation and coordination of activities; reviewing Project progress and performance; approving the Annual Work Program and Budget; and resolving implementation problems or conflicts.
National Steering Committee. (a) The Participating Institutions shall establish, and thereafter maintain, throughout Project implementation, a national steering committee (CDP) with membership, structure, functions and responsibilities satisfactory to the Bank. The CDP shall be chaired by the President of SCJ, or its designated representative, and shall comprise designated representatives of AMAG, the CNM, MINJUS and the Judiciary.
(b) The CDP shall be responsible, inter alia, for: (i) providing overall policy and strategic guidance to ensure timely Project implementation; (ii) ensuring appropriate inter-institutional coordination among the Participating Institutions, and promoting the resolution of any issues which may affect Project implementation; (iii) carrying out general oversight and quality assurance controls to ensure efficient Project implementation pursuant to the provisions of this Agreement and the Subsidiary Agreement; and (iv) promoting an ongoing dialogue with the Peruvian civil society on the reform process and strategy to be developed under the Project.
National Steering Committee. (a) The Recipient shall maintain, throughout the Project period, the National Steering Committee, with attributions, composition and resources satisfactory to the Association, to provide strategic directions and policy guidance for the Project and to resolve inter-ministerial and other policy issues that may arise under the Project.
(b) Further to the provisions of paragraph (a) of this Section I.A.1, the National Steering Committee shall:
(i) be chaired by the Recipient’s prime minister and comprised, inter alia, of the ministers of the Recipient involved in the Project, a representative of BFBA and of BDA and representatives of professional associations in the Recipient’s territory; and shall meet at least once every calendar semester; and
(ii) be supported by a technical secretariat within MOEF, comprised of qualified and experienced staff in adequate numbers.
(c) Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph (a) of this Section I.A.1, the Recipient shall ensure that each Project Implementing Entity, through its organs, assumes responsibility for the day to day management of its Respective Part of the Project, in accordance with its respective Project Agreement.
National Steering Committee. (a) Without limitation upon the provisions of Section A.1, the Recipient shall maintain, at all times until the completion of the Project, a National Steering Committee, with a composition, mandate and resources satisfactory to the Association.
(b) Without limitation to sub-paragraph (a) of this paragraph, the National Steering Committee shall be responsible for overall guidance and strategic advice including, inter alia: (i) reviewing and endorsing the Annual Work Plans and Budgets; (ii) reviewing progress made towards achieving the Project objectives; (iii) facilitating the coordination of Project activities among the regions, and making recommendations for removal of any obstacles to the implementation of the Project; and (iv) providing comments on reports and reviews prepared by the Project Coordination Unit for the benefit of the Association.
National Steering Committee. The Recipient shall establish, not later than three (3) months after the Effective Date, and thereafter maintain at all times throughout Project implementation, under terms of reference and with a composition satisfactory to the Association, the National Steering Committee. The main responsibility of the National Steering Committee is to provide strategic supervision of the Project and review and approve Project annual work plans and budget. The National Steering Committee shall function under the authority of the Recipient’s Minister of Economy and shall include high-level representatives of the ministries involved in the implementation of the Project and, focal point staff from the different ministries and agencies involved in the implementation of the Project, and shall meet as and when required, but at least once every six (6) months.
National Steering Committee. (a) The Recipient shall within thirty (30) days after the Effective Date establish and maintain throughout Project implementation the National Steering Committee (“NSC”).
(b) The NSC shall be comprised of the Minister of State in charge of National Treasury in MINECOFIN, Permanent Secretaries of MININFRA, MINALOC, MoE and MINEMA, Director Generals of RWB, LODA, and REMA, the City Manager of CoK, or and including such other persons as may be agreed between the Recipient and the Bank and further detailed in the PIM.
(c) The NSC shall be responsible for: (i) providing overall strategic guidance and oversight to the Project, including policy and strategic issues related to urbanization; (ii) reviewing and approving annual work plans;
National Steering Committee. The Recipient shall establish and thereafter maintain throughout the implementation of the Project, a National Steering Committee for the purpose of providing strategic direction of the project implementation, chaired a representative duly assigned by the minister of MEDD and comprised of representatives of the Recipient’s relevant ministries, as further detailed in the PIM.

(a) The Recipient through the MOH shall maintain the National Steering Committee (the “NSC”), at all times during the implementation of the Project, with staffing, mandate, terms of reference and resources, satisfactory to the Association, for the purpose of carrying out its functions.
(b) Without limitation upon the provisions of paragraph 1, 3, 4 and 5 of this Section I.A, the NSC shall be responsible for, inter alia: (i) providing strategic and policy guidance on the implementation of the Project;
National Steering Committee. (a) The Recipient through the MOH shall maintain the National Steering Committee (the “NSC”), at all times during the implementation of the Project, with staffing, mandate, terms of reference and resources, satisfactory to the Association, for the purpose of carrying out its functions.
(b) Without limitation upon the provisions of paragraph 1, 3, 4 and 5 of this Section I.A, the NSC shall be responsible for, inter alia: (i) providing strategic and policy guidance on the implementation of the Project;
(ii) reviewing progress made towards achieving the Project’s objectives;
(iii) facilitating coordination of Project activities and removal of any obstacle(s) to the implementation of the Project; (iv) advocacy and resource mobilization for the RBF Unit and the PCU; and (v) provides oversight and support for the PCU coordinator and RBF Unit program manager.
