New Teacher Salary. The school district will make every effort to hire new full time teachers at the Minimum Salary; however, the Superintendent has the discretion to set the new hire salary at any rate within the Salary Range provided the amount does not exceed the salary of a veteran Lake Central teacher with similar experience and education credentials without prior discussion with the LCTA President. For teachers with unique credentials and licensing, the Superintendent or designee will inform LCTA of the reason for the new hire rate.

New Teacher Salary. New teachers to MCS enter at a salary determined by the superintendent upon approval of the board. The Superintendent, or designee, will evaluate the training and experience of all certified teachers new to Manchester Community Schools. Experience will be evaluated and credit will be allowed for prior teaching experience. The Superintendent, or designee, will evaluate the experience of the teacher and determine the teacher’s base salary at the time of initial hiring. This base salary will not deviate significantly from that of teachers at a similar level of experience and expertise; provided, however, that a new teacher may be placed at no more than one (1) level higher on the pay scale than a teacher with similar experience and education, and will not exceed the top of the scale. An earned Master’s degree will be recognized when an applicant’s salary is set. The teacher acknowledges that the determination of his or her initial salary shall continue to remain in place for all future years. The teacher acknowledges that there will be no future retroactive determination of actual experience for purposes of advancing the teacher in the Compensation Model.

  • Base Salary During the Employment Term, the Company shall pay Executive a base salary at the annual rate of $250,000, payable in regular installments in accordance with the Company's usual payment practices. Executive shall be entitled to such increases in Executive's base salary, if any, as may be determined from time to time in the sole discretion of the Board. Executive's annual rate of base salary, as in effect from time to time, is hereinafter referred to as the "Base Salary."

  • Base Compensation a. The Company and the Bank agree to pay Executive during the term of this Agreement a base salary at the rate of $ per year, payable in accordance with customary payroll practices.

  • General Salary Increase 1. Effective with the start of the pay week commencing closest to September 1, 2013, employees shall be provided an across-the-board salary increase of one percent (1%). Salary schedules shall be increased accordingly.

  • Basic Salary (a) During the Employment the Company shall pay the Executive a Basic Salary of not less than £415,000 per annum. The Basic Salary shall accrue from day to day and be payable by credit transfer in equal monthly instalments in arrears on or around the 25th day of each calendar month or otherwise as arranged from time to time.

  • Lower Salary Level An employee who accepts another position with a lower salary range will be paid an amount equal to his or her current salary, provided it is within the salary range of the new position. In those cases where the employee’s current salary exceeds the maximum amount of the salary range for the new position, the employee will be compensated at the maximum salary of the new salary range.
