Prior Teaching Experience. For step placement, year-for- year credit will be allowed on the basis of one (1) increment for each year of verified teaching experience not to exceed established limits. A year's experience is obtained by full- time teaching or by other full-time approved educational service in a public or private accredited or government approved educational institution as a regular certificated (if a public school) teacher, counselor, or librarian for a period of not less than seventy-five percent (75%) of one hundred seventy-five (175) days in a school year. Employment as a teaching, research or laboratory assistant will only be accepted as qualifying experience when the faculty member was the teacher of record. Periods of full-time teaching of less than a school year, as measured in full semesters and/or full quarters or trimesters, regardless of when taught, may be added together to qualify for a full year's experience.
Prior Teaching Experience. A year of prior teaching experience for credit must equal seventy-five percent of the minimum 180 day teaching year required by California law. Only full-time teaching in grades K-12 or Special Education programs is accepted.

Prior Teaching Experience. A maximum of five years of teaching experience outside the District will be allowed toward placement on the salary schedule for a new employee to the District. Additional credit may be given by special action of the Board upon recommendation by the Superintendent. Such experience must be in a public school or accredited private school. No credit shall be given for half years.
(1) A new employee holding a special credential in music, business, art, physical education, or a similar field may be given credit for practical experience which has been evaluated and approved.
(2) Credit for military service will be given to a new employee who held a valid teaching credential before entering the military service. Such credit will be granted at the rate of one year's experience for 24 months of peacetime military service and one year's experience for each 12 months of wartime military service.
Prior Teaching Experience. In the event of a licensed staff reduction based on lack of enrollment reasons, said licensed staff member will have the right to be reinstated for a period of two years after being terminated. “All terms and conditions of employment not specifically covered by this agreement are subject to the Board’s exclusive direction and control and will not be the subject of negotiations during the term of this agreement.”
Prior Teaching Experience. Prior teaching experience shall consist of all years of teaching experience at an accredited public or non-public school prior to the seniority date.
Prior Teaching Experience. In the event of a certified staff reduction based on lack of enrollment reasons, said certified staff member shall have the right to be reinstated for a period of two years after being terminated.
Prior Teaching Experience. Teachers with previous teaching experience in the Milaca School District shall, upon returning to the system, receive full credit on the salary schedule for all previous teaching experience in the Milaca Public Schools.
Prior Teaching Experience. (1) Full credit for experience gained during the two (2) years directly preceding employment at Newfield Central School;
(2) One (1) year credit for each two (2) years experience during the eight (8) years directly preceding the two (2) mentioned above.
