Noon Period. 12.1.1 A teacher is entitled to a duty-free lunch break. 12.1.2 Teachers who do lunch period supervision do so on a voluntary basis. 12.1.3 Teachers providing noon supervision must so indicate by June 15 prior to the upcoming academic year. 12.1.4 Teachers volunteering for noon period supervision will be required to do one noon period/week and may choose to receive either two EDOs or be paid at the Board rate. Teachers doing more than one noon period/week will be reimbursed at the Board rate. 12.1.5 This will be pro-rated if there are more volunteers than needed. 20 periods = 1 day 30 periods = 1.5 days 12.1.6 Teachers must indicate at the beginning of the year whether they will be reimbursed at the Board rate or receive EDOs. EDOs earned for noon period supervision will be available to the teacher throughout the academic year. 12.1.7 Noon periods in excess of 40 will be paid at the Board rate.
Noon Period. Definition For the purposes of this Agreement, noon supervision shall mean the supervision of students during the period of the school day designated as lunch period. That is: day = Min Class IV days = Min Class IV noon period = 1/15 of Min Class IV Definition For the purposes of this Agreement, immediate family is defined as the spouse, partner, child, father, mother, sister, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandparent or grandchild of a teacher or of a teacher’s partner. Partner is defined as the individual with whom the teacher has been living for at least three (3) months.

  • Termination Period This Option shall be exercisable for three (3) months after Participant ceases to be a Service Provider, unless such termination is due to Participant’s death or Disability, in which case this Option shall be exercisable for twelve (12) months after Participant ceases to be a Service Provider.   • Vacation Period ‌ The choice of vacation periods shall be granted to employees on the basis of seniority with the Employer except where the period requested would be detrimental to the operation of the Employer.

  • Meal Period Employees shall receive a meal period which shall commence no less than two (2) hours nor more than five (5) hours from the beginning of the employee's regular shift or when the employee is called in to work on their regular day off. The meal period shall be no less than one-half (½) hour nor more than one (1) hour in duration and shall be without compensation. Should an employee be required to work in excess of five (5) continuous hours from the commencement of their regular shift without being provided a meal period, the employee shall be compensated two (2) times the employee's straight-time hourly rate of pay for the time worked during their normal meal period and be afforded a meal period at the first available opportunity during working hours without compensation.

  • Probation Period It is understood and agreed that the first ninety days of employment shall constitute a probationary period during which period the Employer may, in its absolute discretion, terminate the Employee's employment, for any reason without notice or cause.

  • Limitation Period Except as stated in this Clause, all claims must be made within the period specified by applicable law. If the law allows the parties to specify a shorter period for bringing claims, or the law does not provide a time at all, then claims must be made within 18 months after the event(s) giving rise to a dispute occurs.

  • Break Period All employees working in full time (7 or 7.5 hour) positions shall be permitted a fifteen (15) minute rest period both in the first half and the second half of a shift.

  • Election Period The period which begins on the first day of the Plan Year in which the Participant attains age thirty-five (35) and ends on the date of the Participant’s death. If a Participant separates from Service prior to the first day of the Plan Year in which age thirty-five (35) is attained, the Election Period shall begin on the date of separation, with respect to the account balance as of the date of separation.

  • Retention Period The Engineer shall maintain all books, documents, papers, accounting records and other evidence pertaining to costs incurred and services provided (hereinafter called the Records). The Engineer shall make the records available at its office during the contract period and for seven (7) years from the date of final payment under this contract, until completion of all audits, or until pending litigation has been completely and fully resolved, whichever occurs last.
