Notification of Association Coverage. When a person is hired in any classification covered by a bargaining unit represented by the Association, the Department of Correction and /or the Sheriff’s Office shall notify that person that the Association is the recognized bargaining representative for the employees in said unit and present that person with a copy of the present Agreement.

Notification of Association Coverage. When a person is hired in any classification covered by a bargaining unit represented by the Association, the County shall notify that person that the Association is the recognized bargaining representative for the nurses in said unit and present that person with a copy of the present Agreement, and a copy of the purpose and objectives of RNPA as approved.
Notification of Association Coverage. Each new employee shall attend an orientation conducted by Human Resources within the first thirty (30) days of employment. Such orientation shall be scheduled by Human Resources and shall consist of explanation of various employee rights, benefits, rules and regulations. So long as the actions of the parties are lawful in accordance with ORS 243.670, et seq., the Association and the Sheriff/Director or his designee shall set a time for new employee(s’) Association orientation, which shall be conducted on duty at the Sheriff’s Office/Community Corrections during the first fifteen (15) days of employment by an Association representative who works at that location, and preferably on the first day of employment.

  • FORMATION OF ASSOCIATION 12.2.1 The Promoter shall, in accordance with Applicable Laws, call upon the respective apartment owners to form an association (“ASSOCIATION”), and it shall be incumbent upon the Allottee to join the Association as a member and for this purpose also from time to time sign and execute the application for registration and/or membership and the other papers and documents necessary for the same.   • Freedom of Association A teacher's participation or non-participation in religious, political or teacher association activities conducted outside duty hours and off school property shall not be grounds for disciplinary action or for discrimination with respect to professional employment, providing said activities do not violate local, state or national laws or are not prejudicial to the teacher's effectiveness in teaching performance.

  • Retirement Insurance A teacher retiring from the District and under the provisions of Teachers’ Retirement Association (TRA) is eligible to continue to participate in group insurance programs (health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, supplemental life insurance) as permitted under the insurance policy provisions provided the teacher pay the entire premium for such group insurance programs commencing with the beginning of the retirement (see District Website, Human Resources for specific coverage available). The teacher shall be responsible for paying the monthly premium amounts in advance and on such dates as determined by the District/third party administrator. The right to continue participation in such group insurance programs will discontinue upon the failure of the teacher to pay the premiums to the District/third party administrator, or the expiration of insurance availability under the insurance policy provisions. Since long-term disability insurance coverage replaces salary, and a retiree receives no salary, long-term disability insurance coverage is not available.

  • Separation of Insureds All liability policies shall provide cross-liability coverage as would be afforded by the standard ISO (Insurance Services Office, Inc.) separation of insureds provision with no insured versus insured exclusions or limitations.

  • Notification of Assignment Any assignment that is not undertaken in accordance with the provisions set forth above shall be null and void ab initio. A Party making any assignment shall promptly notify the other Party of such assignment, regardless of whether consent is required.   • ’ Compensation Insurance and Disability Benefits Requirements Sections 57 and 220 of the New York State Workers’ Compensation Law require the heads of all municipal and state entities to ensure that businesses applying for contracts have appropriate workers’ compensation and disability benefits insurance coverage. These requirements apply to both original contracts and renewals. Failure to provide proper proof of such coverage or a legal exemption will result in a rejection of any contract renewal. Proof of workers’ compensation and disability benefits coverage, or proof of exemption must be submitted to OGS at the time of policy renewal, contract renewal and upon request. Proof of compliance must be submitted on one of the following forms designated by the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board. An XXXXX form is not acceptable proof of New York State workers’ compensation or disability benefits insurance coverage. Proof of Compliance with Workers’ Compensation Coverage Requirements:
