NURSING POSITIONS. The Board of Education recognizes the importance of having well-qualified nurses to assure an efficient and effective educational program. All nursing positions in the school system will be established by the Board, and recommendations for employment will be presented to the Board for approval by the superintendent Nurses shall be defined and employed as licensed professional personnel. All nurses will receive a copy of their job description during the new employee orientation meeting. When a nurse’s job description is changed to reflect a revision in responsibilities, a copy will be provided to the employee. A copy will also be provided whenever requested by an employee. The Board directs the superintendent/designee to maintain up-to-date position descriptions for all nurses. Prior to recommending a new position classification, the superintendent shall develop a complete position description for Board approval. 1. When a new position is created, the supervisor or the person designated by the superintendent will develop a position description of the position. 2. This position description must be presented to the superintendent/designee for approval. 3. The superintendent/designee will present the position description and classification along with his or her recommendations to the Board for approval. Job descriptions are to be kept in a separate manual dedicated to that purpose and shall be available in the Office of Human Resources during regular business hours. Nurses shall perform the duties as set forth in their position description or as assigned by their immediate supervisor and in accordance with the Missouri Nurse Practice Acts.

NURSING POSITIONS. Effective December 28, 2014, the normal work day for positions listed under Article VII.1.A, Nursing Job Classification Category A shall be 8.5 hours and shall include one paid fifteen (15) minute coffee break and one unpaid half (1/2) hour lunch period scheduled by the employer. Unless otherwise changed by written mutual agreement between Management and the Union, normal nursing shifts will change as follows: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (day shifts) will change to 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM; 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (evening shift) will change to 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM; and 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (night shift) will change to 10:45 PM to 7:15. a. Existing shift start times for nursing shifts scheduled to begin before the normal nursing shift listed above shall be grandfathered for the tenure of employment for the employees currently filling those shifts, and those shifts shall be extended by one-half hour. In the event that the employees who currently fill those shifts separate from employment with Xxxxxxxx County, then Management has the right to eliminate, fill, or reassign those shifts.

  • Career Development The City and the Union agree that employee career growth can be beneficial to both the City and the affected employee. As such, consistent with training needs identified by the City and the financial resources appropriated therefore by the City, the City shall provide educational and training opportunities for employee career growth. Each employee shall be responsible for utilizing those training and educational opportunities made available by the City or other institutions for the self- development effort needed to achieve personal career goals.

  • Staffing There shall be a clinician employed by the outside contractor for EAP Services who will be on-site a minimum of 20 hours a week. The clinician shall report directly to the outside contractor, Peer Assistance Oversight Committee and the MIF liaison. There shall be three full-time Peer Assistants reporting to the outside contractor.

  • Community Based Adult Intensive Service (AIS) and Child and Family Intensive Treatment (CFIT) – AIS/CFIT programs offer services primarily based in the home and community for qualifying adults and children with moderate- to-severe mental health conditions. These programs consist at a minimum of ongoing emergency/crisis evaluations, psychiatric assessment, medication evaluation and management, case management, psychiatric nursing services, and individual, group, and family therapy. This plan covers individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, and family therapy when rendered by: • Psychiatrists; • Licensed Clinical Psychologists; • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers; • Advance Practice Registered Nurses (Clinical Nurse Specialists/Nurse Practitioners- Behavioral Health); • Licensed Mental Health Counselors; and • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists. This plan covers psychological testing as a behavioral health benefit when rendered by: • neuropsychologists; • psychologists; or • pediatric neurodevelopmental specialists. This plan covers neuropsychological testing as described in the Tests, Labs and Imaging section.

  • Radiation Therapy/Chemotherapy Services This plan covers chemotherapy and radiation services. This plan covers respiratory therapy services. When respiratory services are provided in your home, as part of a home care program, durable medical equipment, supplies, and oxygen are covered as a durable medical equipment service.
