OBJECTIVE OF THE FRAMEWORK CONTRACT. This framework contract is intended to cover contracting of specific high quality expertise services to support ETF initiatives in the partner countries covered by its work programme, in different fields relating to human capital development. Inputs from experts may be required, for example, in one or more of the following areas: Policy reviews and analysis Capacity building Support to programme cycle Dissemination and Networking Effectiveness analyses (at request of EC) The services may be implemented at a country, regional or cross-regional level and may require country-specific experience or knowledge. In many cases, selected experts will work within a team of ETF and/or other external experts and their work may constitute a component of a wider project containing other activities and a number of stakeholders. Expert(s) may be asked to work from home, Turin, or a given EU/partner country(ies). The requirements of specific assignments will be outlined in specific terms of reference (TOR) which will be sent to the Framework Contractor along with a Request for Offer (RfO) before experts are selected. For each specific assignment ETF may require one or more expert(s). Point 3. describes the process for selecting/contracting experts for specific assignments. The below list provides an overview of key thematic areas in which ETF may require specific expertise support. This list is not exhaustive. Schooling for the 21st century, covering governance, partnerships, funding, and learning innovations, student attainment and the development of entrepreneurial learning. Equity and access to education and employment including gender, social cohesion, participation, expenditure and efficiency; New skills for new jobs, as a framework for the ETF’s labour market analysis work, including the interaction of technological and demographic change in the context of the sustainable development of a knowledge society; Pathways and transitions, comprising frameworks for qualifications and the recognition of learning, including post-secondary participation, higher education, non formal learning, credit transfer and the contribution of education to employability and poverty reduction; and Transparency and portability of skills with a particular emphasis on migration and labour market integration.

Contractor specifically understands, acknowledges, and agrees that the District shall have the right to request any alterations, deviations, reductions, or additions to the Project or Work, and the cost thereof shall be added to or deducted from the amount of the Contract Price by fair and reasonable valuations. Contractor also agrees to provide the District with all information requested to substantiate the cost of the change order and to inform the District whether the Work will be done by the Contractor or a subcontractor. In addition to any other information requested, Contractor shall submit, prior to approval of the change order, its request for a time extension (if any), as well as all information necessary to substantiate its belief that such change will delay the completion of the Work. If Contractor fails to submit its request for a time extension or the necessary supporting information, it shall be deemed to have waived its right to request such extension.

  • Project Schedule Construction must begin within 30 days of the date set forth in Appendix A, Page 2, for the start of construction, or this Agreement may become null and void, at the sole discretion of the Director. However, the Recipient may apply to the Director in writing for an extension of the date to initiate construction. The Recipient shall specify the reasons for the delay in the start of construction and provide the Director with a new start of construction date. The Director will review such requests for extensions and may extend the start date, providing that the Project can be completed within a reasonable time frame.

  • PERFORMANCE OF THE CONTRACT II.1.1 The Contractor shall perform the Contract to the highest professional standards. The Contractor shall have sole responsibility for complying with any legal obligations incumbent on him, notably those resulting from employment, tax and social legislation.

  • Scope of Contract This Contract specifies the contractual terms and conditions by which County will procure and receive goods/services from Contractor as set forth in the Scope of Work, which is attached hereto as Attachment A and incorporated by this reference.
