Offshore Allowance. The Offshore Allowance recognizes the remote work location and incorporates pay for Recognized Holidays, all offshore activities associated with off shift team, safety, Occupational Health and Safety meetings or other meetings/training, Emergency/Medical Response training/ exercises, general platform alarms and other duties that accompany offshore work. For the purposes of this clause Recognized Holidays includes New Year’s Day, February Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, 12th Day (July), Civic Holiday (August), Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day.

Offshore Allowance. An employee shall be entitled to an offshore allowance for the life of this agreement of- -- $1.35 per hour for time worked (first 8 hours Mon-Fri) -- $2.00 per hour for time worked (first 8 hours Saturday) -- $2.67 per hour for worked (4 hours after first 8 hours Monday to Saturday and all hours Sunday) The offshore allowance for public holidays will be calculated in accordance with the above arrangement. The offshore allowance as set out above is only payable for hours worked offshore and is effective from the first pay period after 01/04/06. This allowance shall not attract any other loadings i.e casual loading, public holiday loadings etc. This allowance replaces all payments fro Fire Alarms, Dislocation, etc. The above offshore allowance shall be in substitution of all disabilities incurred whilst working offshore.

  • Tool Allowance (a) A tool allowance as set in the relevant Wage Tables in Appendix A per week shall be paid for all purposes to:-

  • Shoe Allowance The Employer will provide reimbursement to full time employees who have completed probation and who are employed in the kitchen and stewarding departments, once per year in the amount of $60.00 and once every two years in the amount of $60.00 for maintenance and banquet housepersons. The amount shall increase to $75, effective January 1, 2007. Employees will receive said amount as long as the shoes are approved by the employer and as long as the shoes are worn on the job. Payment will be made on or about July 1 upon presentation of proof of purchase.

  • Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.

  • Per Diem Allowance A per diem allowance of seven dollars and thirty-five cents ($7.35) may be claimed for each twenty-four (24) hour period while away from home.

  • First Aid Allowance An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. John's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 if appointed by their employer to perform first aid duty.

  • CAR ALLOWANCE The Company shall provide the Executive an automobile allowance of $750 per month during the term of Executive’s employment hereunder.

  • Aid Allowance An employee who has been appointed by the Employer and trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. Xxxx's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid weekly an allowance as detailed in Appendix A. The Employer will always appoint the appropriate number of First Aid Officers as required by relevant legislation and Code of Practice.

  • Shift Allowance In addition to the wage specified in sub-clause (1), read with sub- clause (12), a normal shift worker shall, in respect of his shift hours worked in any week, be paid an additional 12,5% on such wage.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance ‌ An employee who works two and one-half hours of overtime immediately before or following his/her scheduled hours of work shall receive a meal allowance of seven dollars. One-half hour with pay shall be allowed the employee in order that he/she may take a meal break either at or adjacent to his/her place of work.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.
