HEALTH AND SAFETY MEETINGS. 10.1 OHS Act requires that Health and Safety Committees be established in case where employee count exceeds 20 onsite, however due to the duration and the nature of the scope of work executed by the contractors and stakeholders enforces that regardless of employees at the airports. The Mandatary shall establish his / her own health and safety committee(s) and ensure that his / her employees, being the committee members, hold health and safety representatives to attend the Employer’s health and safety committee meetings on monthly basis.
HEALTH AND SAFETY MEETINGS. 10.1 If required in terms of the OHS Act, the Mandatary shall establish his own health and safety committee(s) and ensure that his employees, being the committee members, provide health and safety representatives to attend the Employer’s health and safety committee meetings.
HEALTH AND SAFETY MEETINGS a) A Safety Committee shall be established during the term of the Collective Agreement. A list of the Safety Committee members shall be posted in the Warehouse. The Company shall make provisions for the safety and health of its employees during working hours in accordance with the provision of the Occupational Health and Welfare Act. The Union may, from time to time, bring to the attention of the Company recommendations for improvements in conditions of work and such recommendations shall be subject to discussion between the Company and the Union, but not subject to Section of this Agreement.
HEALTH AND SAFETY MEETINGS. 17.1 Any Employee who is required to attend Workplace Health and Safety Committee and/or Board of Management meetings in the capacity of Employee representative shall, if such meetings are held outside the ordinary hours of work, be entitled to receive payment at the Base Rate and any shift or weekend penalty rate (or casual loading in the case of a casual Employee) that would be applicable to ordinary hours for such attendance for the actual time spent in attendance at such meetings. Such time spent in attendance shall not be viewed as overtime for the purposes of this Agreement subject to subclause 17.2.
HEALTH AND SAFETY MEETINGS. Representatives of the Union and the City, not to exceed two (2) representatives from each, shall meet at mutually agreed upon times to discuss matters of mutual concern relating to issues of health and safety.

17.2 In the case of employees classified as a Nursing Assistant, Trainee Enrolled Nurse or Non-nursing Employee, where such meetings are undertaken outside of the Employee’s rostered ordinary hours
(a) the first 10 hours per year of such meetings will be paid in accordance with clause 17.1;
(b) any remaining meetings beyond 10 hours per year will be paid at the applicable overtime penalty rate.
HEALTH AND SAFETY MEETINGS. 14.1 The Contractor shall establish its own health and safety committee(s), and ensure that its health and safety representatives and Employees, being the committee members, hold health and safety meetings as often as may be required, and at least once every 3 (three) months. The Contractor shall ensure that the health and safety committees perform the functions assigned to them as contemplated in Section 20 of OHSA.
HEALTH AND SAFETY MEETINGS. Contractor shall ensure efficient and effective HS communication and consultation with all Personnel involved in the Work. This includes but is not limited to toolbox meetings prior to the start of the Work, worksite HS meetings on a regular basis with all parties involved (including Subcontractors, the Engineer and third parties). It may also comprise other forms of communication. Contractor shall ensure that supervision, directly in charge of construction activities, fully brief and discuss with Personnel at HS Tool Box Talks at the start of each work day and prior to commencing new activities. These talks shall be conducted in a language understood by the workforce. A checklist shall be utilised for this purpose. At a minimum it shall include the following;

ArcelorMittal South Africa Ltd may elect to permit the Contractor’s Health and Safety Representatives to attend ArcelorMittal South Africa Ltd Health and Safety Committee meetings.
