Operational Testing. It is the intent of the Contracting Agency to have at the Physical Completion Date a complete and operable system. Therefore when the work involves the installation of machinery or other mechanical equipment; street lighting, electrical distribution or signal systems; irrigation systems; buildings; or other similar work it may be desirable for the Engineer to have the Contractor operate and test the work for a period of time after final inspection but prior to the physical completion date. Whenever items of work are listed in the Contract Provisions for operational testing they shall be fully tested under operating conditions for the time period specified to ensure their acceptability prior to the Physical Completion Date. During and following the test period, the Contractor shall correct any items of workmanship, materials, or equipment which prove faulty, or that are not in first class operating condition. Equipment, electrical controls, meters, or other devices and equipment to be tested during this period shall be tested under the observation of the Engineer, so that the Engineer may determine their suitability for the purpose for which they were installed. The Physical Completion Date cannot be established until testing and corrections have been completed to the satisfaction of the Engineer. The costs for power, gas, labor, material, supplies, and everything else needed to successfully complete operational testing, shall be included in the unit contract prices related to the system being tested, unless specifically set forth otherwise in the proposal. Operational and test periods, when required by the Engineer, shall not affect a manufacturer’s guaranties or warranties furnished under the terms of the contract.

Operational Testing. The electrical, mechanical and other specialized testing required by Good Utility Practice to validate the integrity and operational functionality of an Inventoried Spare.

To the extent required by Good Utility Practice, Grid Assurance will conduct Operational Testing of Inventoried Spares prior to the delivery thereof to the Transmission Group Member. Grid Assurance will allow the Transmission Group Member and its representatives to witness, and shall reasonably cooperate with the Transmission Group Member to schedule, such Operational Testing; provided, however, that: (a) such Persons must agree to comply with Grid Assurance’s standard health, safety, security and confidentiality requirements; and (b) Grid Assurance will not be responsible or liable in any way for any delays to the extent caused by or due to the Transmission Group Member or its representatives witnessing Operational Testing of Inventoried Spares.

Operational Testing. 1. After Contractor's completion of all initial testing and if Engineer concurs that all Goods comply with the requirements of the Specifications, Contractor shall fill all process systems and units with the specified fluid.
2. Upon completion of the filling operations, Contractor shall operate the completed systems and subsystems as a complete facility at various loading conditions, as directed by Engineer.
3. Contractor shall bring all process units and systems to full operating conditions, including temperature, pressure, and flow.
4. The duration of the operational test shall be at least 3 days. Each test day the complete facility shall be operated for at least 8 continuous hours. During the 3‐day period, Contractor shall demonstrate the operation of all equipment and all systems installed under this Agreement.
5. If operational testing is stopped for any reason related to the temporary testing systems, or the facilities or equipment furnished under this Agreement, Contractor shall repeat the operational testing program until the specified continuous period has been accomplished without interruption.
6. All costs for water, fuel, power, and chemical required during this plant operational test shall be borne by the District. Contractor shall obtain nonpotable or potable water required to complete tests and inspections from the District. Arrangements shall be made through Engineer.
Operational Testing. The Contractor shall accomplish an operational testing of the repaired, replaced, fabricated, and/or installed materials and items listed in the delivery order IAW the requirements of the statement of work, and references C.1.1
