OTHER EMERGENCIES OF PERSONAL NATURE. 1. An allowance of up to three days per school year total leave with pay plus up to five additional days leave with pay less substitute’s pay with prior approval of the Superintendent shall be granted all full- time certificated personnel for the following reasons:
OTHER EMERGENCIES OF PERSONAL NATURE. An allowance of up to a total of three (3) days leave during the school year. All employees are required to give at least forty-eight (48) hours notice unless it is impossible to do so. Personal leave shall not be taken on the day immediately preceding or following a holiday or vacation period if the days are being used to extend the vacation. However, if an employee needs to use a personal day during the above cited period, he or she shall provide the Superintendent in writing with the reason for such request for approval with pay. If at the end of the school year any of the three (3) leave days of a personal nature remain unused, they shall be accumulated as sick days for use in the next school year.

  • Protection of Personal Information Party agrees to comply with all applicable state and federal statutes to assure protection and security of personal information, or of any personally identifiable information (PII), including the Security Breach Notice Act, 9 V.S.A. § 2435, the Social Security Number Protection Act, 9 V.S.A. § 2440, the Document Safe Destruction Act, 9 V.S.A. § 2445 and 45 CFR 155.260. As used here, PII shall include any information, in any medium, including electronic, which can be used to distinguish or trace an individual’s identity, such as his/her name, social security number, biometric records, etc., either alone or when combined with any other personal or identifiable information that is linked or linkable to a specific person, such as date and place or birth, mother’s maiden name, etc.
