Overseeding a. Contractor shall be responsible for scalp and seed for winter, and seed for summer. Contractor shall comply with Section 5.05.010 of the City Coachella’s Municipal Code. Coordinate with City representative; City to provide seed.

Overseeding. All areas to be overseeded, (typically, tees, fairways, greens and practice areas) will be prepared for seeding to ensure the best possible conditions for overseeding. Poa Trivialis will be used at a rate of not less than 8 # per thousand (1,000) square feet and up to 12 # per thousand (1,000) square feet. The specific date for course overseeding will be chosen with the approval of the General Manager. Pigment may be used in lieu of seed.

Overseeding. All mechanical overseeding will be performed using a verticut overseeder, where applicable mechanical overseeding will be performed at a rate of three (3) pounds of seed per 1,000 sq. ft. to strengthen weak areas and to incorporate new varieties of grass into existing turf. The seed shall consist of a certified blend of Tall Fescue type species approved by the Contract Administrator or his/her designee.
Overseeding. All turf areas shall be reseeded as directed by the City Representative, in order to improve density or repair bare areas. Once the seed has been applied, seed will be covered with finish mulch (or an alternative topping approved by the City Representative) to prevent erosion. Mulch will be provided by the City. Contractor will be required to request an adjustment to the irrigation schedule in order to ensure adequate moisture to guarantee 100% germination. When requesting an adjustment to the irrigation schedule, Contractor will take into consideration all local and State water conservation guidelines and prevent water waste.

Overseeding. The Fescue turf shall be over seeded in the fall in alternating years under the following specifications. • Aerator is to be used to disturb the soil surface and provide an environment for new seed soil contact. • An improved turf type tall Fescue blend seed type (no dwarf seed types accepted) with guaranteed germination of 90% and a guaranteed seed purity of 98% at a rate of 5 lbs. per 1,000 Sq. Ft. is to be used. Any areas damaged by disease or drought should be: • Scalped and debris removed. • Verticut and debris removed. • Over seeded with an improved variety of turf type Tall Fescue at a rate of 8 to 10 lbs. per 1,000 Sq. Ft. • Mulch with wheat straw to retain moisture. Overseeding should be timed with the fourth fertilizer application. Treatment of Bermuda infested Fescue grass shall be an option to the customer and a separate proposal shall be provided to perform the work.
Overseeding. Unless suspended by the Parks & Recreation Department due to watering restrictions or not funded in the golf operating annual budget. All tee areas shall be overseeded each fall at a rate of 15 pounds per 1,000 square feet from November to April or as necessary to maintain a suitable level of grass for play. Allteesshallbe vertically mowed three(3) times each yearinconjunction with aerification or as needed to control thatch build up.

  • Oversight The Licensing Officer shall oversee the quality of the services provided by the Licensee and the reasonableness of the prices charged. The Licensing Officer may advise the Licensee from time to time of any source of dissatisfaction and request correction.

  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT A. Both the Board and the Association encourage teachers to seek professional improvement. In order to assist teachers in extending and improving their skills the following plan will be implemented. B. All Teachers will be encouraged to earn a Masters degree or coursework toward additional certification that is in the field of education and within a teacher's discipline, or in an area that is beneficial to the school. C. The Board will pay teacher's expenses for undergraduate and/or graduate credits, specialty and additional endorsements under the following conditions. 1. In allocating budgeted funds priority will be given to the teachers in a “masters” program and those teachers who need to complete coursework for certification. 2. All courses must be approved, in advance, by the Superintendent. Courses for recertification purposes must be approved in advance by the certification committee and the superintendent. The teacher shall receive a written reply from the Superintendent within ten (10) days of application for course approval (See Appendix D). 3. Each teacher will be eligible for up to six (6) semester hours of credit or, if enrolled in a matriculated, organized program, 12 semester hours of credit for undergraduate will be paid if part of a graduate program or graduate courses per contract year. The Superintendent reserves the right to request intent to take courses prior to final budget preparation. Failure to communicate such intent at the time of the Superintendent’s request may jeopardize course reimbursement due to a lack of funding. 4. The administration will pay in advance the cost of the course. Presentation of evidence of satisfactory completion of the course (A grade of B or better) is the responsibility of the teacher. In the event the course is not completed or not completed satisfactorily, the teacher will refund the payment received in advance and in accordance with Appendix D – attached. 5. Teachers who resign shall not be eligible for reimbursement after the date of resignation Teachers who have been reimbursed for any course work toward securing a masters within the last two (2) years of employment shall be required to continue their service to RSU # 78 for an additional two (2) years (twenty-four months) or will be required to reimburse the district the cost associated with Masters courses taken prior to departing, Such reimbursement to the district shall be remitted via payroll deductions as arranged between the District and employee, unless the failure to continue employment is due to illness, disability, death, or reduction of position. 6. Reimbursement will only be for tuition and fees. It will not include reimbursement for mileage, books and other expenses unless the teacher is required to take the course by the administration.

  • Program Monitoring The Contractor will make all records and documents required under this Agreement as outlined here, in OEC Policies and NHECC Policies available to the SRO or its designee, the SR Fiscal Officer or their designee and the OEC. Scheduled monitoring visits will take place twice a year. The SRO and OEC reserve the right to make unannounced visits.
