Overtime (2019). All employees in pay ranges 18 and below shall be entitled to compensation at one and one-half (1 1/2) times their regular rate of pay for all hours beyond eight (8) actually worked in a workday or forty (40) in a work week. Exceptions to this paragraph may be made where the parties have agreed to an alternate work schedule for an employee(s) as provided for in Article: Hours and Work Schedules. For the purposes of this paragraph, hours spent as holiday or administrative leave shall count as hours actually worked in the computation of overtime. Administrative leave for inclement weather, other court closures, and benefit meetings/appointments shall not count as hours worked for the computation of overtime. Employees who are required to work during a court closure shall be entitled to straight compensatory leave in addition to the administrative leave paid for the court closure. Disqualification from overtime pay shall not disqualify an employee from callout pay. Employees may elect to receive compensatory time off in lieu of overtime pay at the appropriate rate for each overtime hour actually worked. Such compensating time may be accumulated from week to week up to a maximum limit of one hundred sixty (160) hours, and, may be taken using the same procedure as vacation leave. During the last quarter of the fiscal year, based on available funds, management may initiate payment of accrued compensatory time down to a certain accrual level. Such payment shall be made at employee’s hourly rate of pay in effect at the time of payment. Payment to employees will be made upon mutual agreement to do so.

  • Overtime Meal Employees requested to work more than two (2) hours overtime after completion of their regular shift, will be given one-half (1/2) hour on Company time to eat their lunch and will be given seven dollars ($7.00) meal money.

  • Overtime Meals When employees are required to work more than two (2) hours beyond their regular work days, the Employer will provide hot meals at no cost to the employees, up to a maximum of sixteen dollars ($16.00) (receipts to be submitted) plus paid meal periods of one-half (1/2) hour at the prevailing rate and thereafter at four (4) hour intervals. Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted). Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.

  • Overtime Overtime will begin to accrue after sixty (60) hours in a two (2) week period averaged over the scheduling period determined by the local parties. Overtime will apply if the employee works in excess of the normal daily hours. Payment for overtime is as in Article 16.01.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance ‌ An employee who works two and one-half hours of overtime immediately before or following his/her scheduled hours of work shall receive a meal allowance of seven dollars. One-half hour with pay shall be allowed the employee in order that he/she may take a meal break either at or adjacent to his/her place of work.

  • Overtime Bank All overtime remaining in an employee’s overtime bank at the end of the calendar year following that in which it was earned shall be paid out by the University.

  • Overtime Meal Allowances (a) An Employee who is required to work a minimum of two and one-half (2½) hours overtime before or after his/her scheduled hours of work, shall be provided with a meal or shall be reimbursed nine dollars ($9.00). A meal break of one-half (½) hour with pay shall be given at the overtime rate. This section shall not apply to an Employee who is on travel status which entitles him/her to claim for lodging and/or meals.

  • Overtime Pay a) A casual employee shall be entitled to overtime pay in accordance with Article 27.05 in the following circumstances:

  • Holiday Overtime An employee required to work on any of the above-named holidays will be paid holiday pay plus payment for the number of hours worked at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) his regular straight time rate of pay.

  • Overtime Equalization The assignment of overtime shall be reasonably equalized within classifications. The normal maximum hours officers will be scheduled is (15) fifteen hours. Upon field training competition, probationary officers will begin their total overtime hours on the overtime equalization chart at the average of all members within the officer classification. An overtime equalization chart shall be maintained within the department. The chart shall list all overtime offers and each officer’s declined and accepted hours for each particular offer. Each time an officer is offered overtime, the number of overtime hours worked, or the number of hours declined, will be credited to officer’s chart. The overtime equalization chart shall be posted monthly.

  • Annual Paid Sick Leave Fifteen (15) days sick leave per year shall be earned by an employee at the rate of 1.25 days for every month that an employee is employed.
