Overview of the Framework. 3.1. The purpose of the Framework Agreement is for research and analytical services to enable the provision of information and analysis, statistics and social research, economics and natural sciences services to the Authority and its Agencies. 3.2. This Framework Agreement is not intended to limit choice and flexibility necessary to deal with complex issues and is not intended to inhibit innovation in the delivery of research and analytical services to the Authority in the areas of food and farming covered in the Business Areas. 3.3. Long term relationships with Contractors are encouraged and nothing in the terms of the Framework Agreement precludes its use for Call Off contracts for services requirements over a number of years. 3.4. Inclusion on this Framework does not guarantee a Contractor any orders under this Framework or level of spend, or any value of services for any Call-off Contract awarded pursuant to this Framework. 3.5. The Framework will be available for use by the Authority and its Agencies from the commencement date. 3.6. The Authority has a wide network of partners, some of whom provide the Authority with advice, and some of whom deliver our policies to the Authority’s customers. There may be occasion when specific Services are required that may be delivered by one or a number of the Authority’s Agencies (in-house) or by a Framework Contractor. When this situation arises, the Authority’s Agencies and the external Contractors will be evaluated using the same technical and commercial criteria in a mini-competition in parallel. Selection will be based on which Contractor, whether in- house or external, can demonstrate the best ability to meet both the specific requirements and provides value for money and has the capability to meet our needs. It is anticipated that the situation where either an Agency or external Contractor can both provide the service will only arise in a small number of cases for the duration of the Framework. 3.7. The work is required by the Authority primarily to cover England and in some cases Wales, though the geography may extend to UK level, or occasionally global level, depending on the nature of the requirements.

  • Overview (a) The Employer is committed to maintaining a stable and skilled workforce, recognising its contribution to the operation of the Employer. (b) The Employer will take all measures to achieve employment security for the direct permanent employees of the Employer. The Parties agree upon the measures in this Clause to protect and enhance the employment security, health and safety, terms and conditions of employment and career development of the employees. (c) The employer agrees that it is highly important to ensure that work is performed effectively, efficiently and without undue pressure or bullying, and in a way that promotes OHS and EO principles and practices in the workplace and appropriate representation of employees should they so request. The employer will ensure that its employment practices are consistent with the above principles and practices.

  • Orientation Program The Company will allow a designated representative of the Local or Bargaining Unit up to one (1) hour per calendar month for the purpose of conducting the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union New Members’ Orientation Program. Such meetings will be conducted during the probationary period of employees, and will be held on Company premises. Employees participating in Orientation Program meetings during their normally scheduled working hours will not suffer loss of pay at their regular rate. Orientation Program meetings will be scheduled by Management and a Management representative may attend as an observer.

  • Program Overview Microsoft extends to eligible partners the opportunity to participate in the Program referenced above subject to these Program Terms & Conditions (“Program Terms”). Each entity participating in the Program is hereinafter referred to as a “Participant.” Participation in the Program is voluntary. The Program is governed by the Program Terms, which incorporate by reference the Microsoft Partner Network Agreement (as in effect between Microsoft and Participant, the “MPN Agreement”). Capitalized terms used but not defined in these Program Terms have the meanings assigned to them in the MPN Agreement. These Program Terms are subject to local requirements and may vary by jurisdiction, and Participant retains sole discretion to set pricing for sales of applicable products.

  • Framework This Agreement establishes a framework that will enable Red Hat to provide Software and Services to Client. “Software” means Red Hat Enterprise Linux, JBoss Enterprise Middleware and other software programs branded by Red Hat, its Affiliates and/or third parties including all modifications, additions or further enhancements delivered by Red Hat. The specific services (the “Services”) and/or Software that Red Hat will provide to Client will be described in an Order Form, signed by the parties or otherwise accepted by Red Hat, which may consist of (a) one or more mutually agreed order forms, statements of work, work orders or similar transaction documents, or (b) an order placed by Client through Red Hat's online store accessible from a Red Hat website. The parties agree that the terms of this Agreement will govern all purchases and use by Client of Software and Services unless otherwise agreed by the parties in writing.

  • Competencies The following competencies apply to this position. The employee will be assessed against these as part of their annual performance and development review.

  • Legal Framework 1. This programme agreement shall be read in conjunction with the following documents which, together with this programme agreement, constitute the legal framework of the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021: (a) Protocol 38c to the EEA Agreement on the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021; (b) the Regulation on the implementation of the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulation”) issued by the Donor States in accordance with Article 10(5) of Protocol 38c; (c) the Memorandum of Understanding on the Implementation of the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 (hereinafter referred to as the “MoU”), entered into between the Donor States and the Beneficiary State; and (d) any guidelines adopted by the FMC in accordance with the Regulation. 2. In case of an inconsistency between this programme agreement and the Regulation, the Regulation shall prevail. 3. The legal framework is binding for the Parties. An act or omission by a Party to this programme agreement that is incompatible with the legal framework constitutes a breach of this programme agreement by that Party.

  • Homework In addition to regular attendance at scheduled classes, each student will be required to devote additional time each week outside the classroom to study and work on assignments.

  • RECOGNITION OUTCOMES The receiving institution commits to provide the sending institution and the student with a Transcript of Records within a period stipulated in the inter-institutional agreement and normally not longer than five weeks after publication/proclamation of the student’s results at the receiving institution. The Transcript of Records from the receiving institution will contain at least the minimum information requested in this Learning Agreement template. Table E (or the representation that the institution makes of it) will include all the educational components agreed in table A and, if there were changes to the study programme abroad, in table C. In addition, grade distribution information should be included in the Transcript of Records or attached to it (a web link where this information can be found is enough). The actual start and end dates of the study period will be included according to the following definitions: The start date of the study period is the first day the student has been present at the receiving institution, for example, for the first course, for a welcoming event organised by the host institution or for language and intercultural courses. The end date of the study period is the last day the student has been present at the receiving institution and not his actual date of departure. This is, for example, the end of exams period, courses or mandatory sitting period. Following the receipt of the Transcript of Records from the receiving institution, the sending institution commits to provide to the student a Transcript of Records, without further requirements from the student, and normally within five weeks. The sending institution's Transcript of Records must include at least the information listed in table F (the recognition outcomes) and attach the receiving institution's Transcript of Record. In case of mobility windows, table F may be completed as follows: Component code (if any) Title of recognised component (as indicated in the course catalogue) at the sending institution Number of ECTS credits Sending institution grade, if applicable Mobility window Total: 30 ….. Where applicable, the sending institution will translate the grades received by the student abroad, taking into account the grade distribution information from the receiving institution (see the methodology described in the ECTS Users' Guide). In addition, all the educational components will appear as well in the student's Diploma Supplement. The exact titles from the receiving institution will also be included in the Transcript of Records that is attached to the Diploma Supplement. P Additional educational components above the number of ECTS credits required in his/her curriculum are listed in the LA and if the sending institution will not recognise them as counting towards their degree, this has to be agreed by all parties concerned and annexed to the LA

  • Interoperability To the extent required by applicable law, Cisco shall provide You with the interface information needed to achieve interoperability between the Software and another independently created program. Cisco will provide this interface information at Your written request after you pay Cisco’s licensing fees (if any). You will keep this information in strict confidence and strictly follow any applicable terms and conditions upon which Cisco makes such information available.

  • Outcomes Secondary: Career pathway students will: have career goals designated on SEOP, earn concurrent college credit while in high school, achieve a state competency certificate and while completing high school graduation requirements.
