Paid Union Meetings. 11.3.1 The employer must allow every union member employed by the employer to attend at least two union meetings (each of a maximum of two hours' duration) in each calendar year.
11.3.2 The union must give the employer at least 14 days' notice of the date and time of any union meeting to be held.
11.3.3 The union must make such arrangements with the employer as may be necessary to ensure that the school remains open for instruction during any union meeting, including, where appropriate, an arrangement for sufficient union members to remain available during the meeting to enable the school to remain open for instruction.
11.3.4 Work must resume as soon as practicable after the meeting, but the employer is not obliged to pay any union member for a period longer than two hours in respect of any meeting.
11.3.5 An employer must allow a union member employed by the employer to attend a union meeting under this clause on ordinary pay to the extent that the employee would otherwise be working for the employer during the meeting.
11.3.6 For the purposes of clause 11.
Paid Union Meetings. 8.2.1 These provisions are not in addition to the provisions of the Employment Relations Xxx 0000:
(a) subject to (b), (c), (d) and (e) the employer shall allow every employee covered by this Agreement who has nominated NZEI Te Riu Roa as their bargaining agent to attend on ordinary pay up to two meetings (each of a maximum two hours’ duration) with NZEI Te Riu Roa in each year.
(b) the union shall give the employer at least 14 days’ notice of the date and time of any meeting to which sub-clause (a) applies.
(c) the union shall make such arrangements with the employer as may be necessary to ensure that the employer’s business is maintained during any union meeting, including, where appropriate, an arrangement for sufficient union members to remain available during the meeting to enable the employer’s operation to continue.
(d) work shall resume as soon as practicable after the meeting, but the employer shall not be obliged to pay any union member for a period greater than two hours in respect of any meeting.
(e) only union members who actually attend a union meeting shall be entitled to pay in respect of that meeting and to that end the union shall supply the employer with a list of members who attended and shall advise of the time the meeting finished.
Paid Union Meetings. 2.8.1 The employer must allow every union member employed by the employer to attend at least two union meetings (each of a maximum of two hours' duration) in each calendar year.
2.8.2 The union must give the employer at least 14 days' notice of the date and time of any union meeting to be held.
2.8.3 The union must make such arrangements with the employer as may be necessary to ensure that the school remains open for instruction during any union meeting, including, where appropriate, an arrangement for sufficient union members to remain available during the meeting to enable the school to remain open for instruction.
2.8.4 Work must resume as soon as practicable after the meeting, but the employer is not obliged to pay any union member for a period longer than two hours in respect of any meeting.
Paid Union Meetings. Subject to subsections of this clause, the employer shall allow every employee who is a member of APEX, on ordinary pay, to the extent that the employee would otherwise be working for the employer during the meeting, two paid union meetings (each of a maximum of two hours' duration) in each year (being the period beginning on the first day of January and ending of the following 31st day of December). APEX shall give the employer at least 14 days' notice of the date and time of any meeting to which sub-clause (1) of this clause applies. APEX shall make such arrangements with the employer as may be necessary to ensure that the employer’s business is maintained during any meeting, including, where appropriate, an arrangement for sufficient employees to remain available during the meeting to enable each employer’s operation to continue. Work shall resume as soon as practicable after the meeting, but the employer shall not be obliged to pay any employee for a period greater than two hours in respect of any meeting. Only employees who actually attend an APEX meeting shall be entitled to pay in respect of that meeting and to that end APEX shall supply the employer with a list of employees who attended and shall advise the employer of the time the meeting finished.
Paid Union Meetings. (a) The employer must allow every union member employed by the employer to attend at least 2 union meetings (each of a maximum of 2 hours’ duration) in each calendar year.
(b) The union must give the employer at least 14 days’ notice of the date and time of any union meeting to be held.
(c) The union must make such arrangements with the employer as necessary to ensure that the school remains open for instruction during any union meeting, including, where appropriate, an arrangement for sufficient union members to remain available during the meeting to enable the school to remain open for instruction.
(d) Work must resume as soon as practicable after the meeting, but the employer is not obliged to pay any union member for a period longer than 2 hours in respect of any meeting.
(e) An employer must allow a union member employed by the employer to attend a union meeting under 7.7 on ordinary pay to the extent that the employee would otherwise be working for the employer during the meeting.
(f) For the purposes of 7.7 (e) the union must:
(i) supply to the employer a list of members who attended the union meeting; and
(ii) advise the employer of the duration of the meeting.
Paid Union Meetings. 33.1 The employer shall allow Association members to attend at least two union meetings, each of up to two hours’ duration, on full pay in each calendar year.
33.2 The Association shall give the employer at least 14 days’ notice of the date and time of a union meeting.
33.3 The Association shall make such arrangements with the employer as may be reasonable to ensure the employer’s essential activities are maintained during the union meeting.
33.4 Normal duties shall resume as soon as practicable after the meeting, but the employer shall not be obliged to pay any Association member for more than two hours in respect of any meeting.
33.5 Only Association members who actually attend a union meeting shall be entitled to pay in respect of that meeting and the employer may require the Association to supply a list of members who attended and advice of the time the meeting finished.
Paid Union Meetings. Part 12: Employment Relationship Problems
Paid Union Meetings. 1In order for the employer to approve paid meetings between the HWU and its members, the HWU must meet the following requirements:
Paid Union Meetings. The Employer will release Employee’s to attend a AWU meeting on site for up to two (2) hours paid ordinary time annually (per calendar year) for these meeting/s.
Paid Union Meetings. The Employer will release Employee’s to attend an on-site SDAEA union meeting for each union for up to one (1) hour paid ordinary time annually (per calendar year) for these meeting/s provided:
(a) Normal site operations are to be maintained at all times;
(b) Meetings are non-cumulative and non-transferable between sites; and
(c) Meetings will be linked to lunch or rest breaks.
