Part–Time Classified Employee Benefits. Regular District employees who have received management approval to work a reduced work week or part–time schedule and who work a minimum of forty (40) hours per pay period, and participate in the California Public EmployeesRetirement System (PERS) are entitled to receive the following benefits on the same terms as full time regular District employees: medical, vision care, dental, life insurance, and disability insurance. They may also participate in any classified employee benefit program wholly funded through employee contributions for which they are eligible under the terms of the agreement with the provider (e.g., optional personal AD&D insurance).

Part–Time Classified Employee Benefits. Regularly employed part-time classified employees shall be entitled to sick leave, and all other benefits conferred by law. All vacation, maternity, and other leaves and benefits granted to the majority of the regular full-time employees in the classified service of the District or to regular full-time employees in the same classified positions or general class of positions; but such leaves and benefits will be prorated in the same ratio as the regular work hours per day, days per week, weeks per month, or months per year of such part-time employees bear to 8 hours per day, 40 hours per calendar week, calendar weeks per month, or 12 calendar months during the school year.

  • PART-TIME EMPLOYEE BENEFITS Regular part time employees shall be provided the opportunity to purchase benefits of one of the plans described in Article XVII, Sections B and C at the Employer plan’s premium cost. The Employer will pay the Employer’s monthly share of the premium cost at a ratio proportionate to the employee’s part time condition of employment contingent upon receipt of the employee’s yearly share of the employee’s premium.

  • Part-Time Benefits A part-time employee shall receive in lieu of all fringe benefits (being those benefits to an employee, paid in whole or in part by the hospitals, as part of direct compensation or otherwise, including holiday pay, save and except salary, vacation pay, standby pay, call-in pay, responsibility pay, jury and witness duty, bereavement leave, and pregnancy and parental supplemental unemployment benefits) an amount equal to 14% of his regular straight time hourly rate for all straight time hours paid.   • Short Term Disability Benefits Paragraph 1: The Board shall provide short term disability benefits as set forth in the Short Term Disability Summary Plan Description. Short term disa- bility benefits for disabilities resulting from non-occupational illness or injury, shall be paid at the rate of 70% of the teacher’s regular daily rate, subject to all applicable deductions. A teacher may choose to save up to five (5) accumulat- ed temporary leave days. Following the exhaustion of temporary leave, there is a five day waiting period before short term disability benefits begin. The five day waiting period will be waived for absences greater than 30 calendar days and short term disability payments shall be paid retroactively.

  • Deceased Employees The employer may approve a cash payment equivalent to the two lots of two weeks' salary to the widow, widower or if no surviving spouse exists, to dependent child(ren) or to the estate, of a deceased employee who had qualified for long service leave but who had neither taken nor forfeited it under these rules. This payment will be in addition to any grant made under the Retirement Gratuity Provisions specified in this Agreement.

  • Part-Time Employees (a) A part-time employee is an employee who is engaged to work less than an average of 38 ordinary hours per week and whose hours of work are reasonably predictable.

  • Defined Benefit Pension Plan 1. The Employer and the Union hereby agree to the continuation of the existing Northern California Glaziers, Architectural Metal and Glass Workers Pension Trust Agreement ("Defined Benefit Pension Trust").
