Pay for Holiday Hours. In the event a holiday occurs and an employee is scheduled to work during the period the employee is serving on Jury Duty, they shall receive Holiday pay in addition to Jury Duty pay from the County.

Pay for Holiday Hours a. Employees who work on a holiday shall inform their supervisor whether they want to receive regular pay or to bank their holiday as an additional annual leave day, in addition to the time and one half (1½) holiday premium.

  • Pay for Holidays Worked (a) When an employee is required to work on a designated holiday, the employee shall be paid compensation, or given compensatory time off, for such work at the rate of time and one-half the employee’s regular rate of pay, in addition to regular pay received for all hours worked for the holiday.

  • Compensation for Holidays Worked a. With the exception of the provisions in Section C.2.b., below, an employee required to work on a holiday listed above shall be paid at the employee's regular straight-time rate of pay for the hours actually worked.   • Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday (a) For an employee whose workweek is from Monday to Friday and when any of the above-noted holidays fall on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as observed on some other day, the following Monday shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement; and when a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies to the Monday), shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.
