Payment of Annual Leave on Termination of Employment. Employees are entitled to be paid in lieu of any accrued and untaken annual leave upon termination of their employment.

When an employee deceases or otherwise ceases to be employed, the employee or the employee's estate shall be paid an amount equal to the product obtained by multiplying the number of days of earned but unused vacation leave with pay to the employee's credit by the daily rate of pay as calculated from the classification prescribed in the employee's letter of appointment on the date of termination of employment. Recovery of Unearned Vacation Pay In the event of termination of employment for reasons other than involuntary separation, the Corporation shall recover from any monies owed the employee an amount equivalent to unearned vacation leave taken by the employee, as calculated from the classification prescribed in the employee's letter of appointment on the date of termination of employment.
