PERMITS, APPROVALS AND LICENSES. Whenever the supply of Goods and incidental Services requires that the contractor obtain permits, approvals, and licenses from local public authorities, it shall be the contractor's sole responsibility to obtain these and keep these current and valid. Such requirements may include but not be restricted to export licence or environmental clearance if required. If requested by the contractor, MDL shall make its best effort to assist the contractor in complying with such requirements in a timely and expeditious manner, without any dilution of the Contractor’s responsibility in this regard 7.

Designer/Builder and its employees, agents, and subcontractors shall secure and maintain in force, at Designer/Builder’s sole cost and expense, all licenses and permits as are required by law, in connection with the furnishing of materials, supplies, Services or Work.
