Permits, Laws and Regulations. Permits and licenses required for the execution of the work shall be obtained by the Contractor/ Vendor at his own expenses. The Contractor/ Vendor shall give notices and comply with the regulations, laws, and ordinances rules, applicable to the contract. If the Contractor/ Vendor observes any discrepancy between the drawings and specifications, he shall promptly notify the SBI in writing. If the Contractor/ Vendor performs any act, which is against the law, rules and regulations he shall meet all the costs arising there from and shall indemnify the SBI any legal actions arising there from.
Permits, Laws and Regulations. (a) The Contractor will (and will cause each Subcontractor to) comply with:
(i) all Applicable Laws and all standards, specifications, manuals or codes of any technical organization or governmental authority; and
(ii) to the extent not inconsistent with (i), Good Industry Practice, in respect of the Work.
(b) The Contractor will obtain, at its cost, all permits and other consents required in respect of the Work.
Permits, Laws and Regulations. (a) Vendor shall, at its own expense, obtain all necessary permits, certificates, licenses and bonds required to perform and provide the Services or Goods, and shall comply with all applicable Federal, State and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations in carrying on its business and in performing or providing the Goods or Services. Vendor shall bear all costs, expenses, damages and fines arising out of violation of any such laws, ordinances, rules or regulations by Vendor or any agent, including all costs and expenses of conforming the Goods or Services to the requirements thereof.
(b) Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Vendor specifically agrees to comply with all environmental laws; the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, as amended; the Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977, as amended, and the respective standards and regulations issued thereunder; the Fair Labor Standards Act as amended and orders, rules and regulations issued thereunder; the Xxxxx-Xxxxx Public Contracts Act, if applicable; all applicable Federal, State and local laws, orders, rules and regulations relating to employment of the handicapped or other covered or protected group (including but not limited to Public Law 93112 and any orders, rules and regulations issued thereunder); all applicable Federal, State and local laws, orders, rules and regulations relating to discrimination in employment (including but not limited to Executive Order 11246, as amended, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, 29 U.S.C. 793; Section 402 of the Vietnam Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, as amended, 38 USC U.S.C. 4212; Executive Order 13496; and Worker's Compensation laws, all of which are specifically incorporated herein by reference. To the extent required by Xxxxxx or applicable law, Vendor shall obtain equivalent compliance agreements or commitments from its agents, vendors, contractors and/or suppliers and shall maintain said agreements or commitments in its files.
(c) Vendor certifies that all Goods furnished under this Contract, and/or any Services or other activity performed by Vendor or any Vendor subcontractor on Xxxxxx’x premises, will conform to and comply with all applicable laws, as well as to Xxxxxx’x policies, rules and regulations. Permits, Laws and Regulations. A. In a timely manner in order to not delay the progress of the Work, General Contractor shall obtain and pay for all permits, licenses and certificates of inspection necessary for the prosecution and completion of the Work. Should any fees for permits, licenses and certificates of inspection be waived by the appropriate governmental agencies, then General Contractor shall give full credit for them to the Board, and the Board may deduct the amount or amounts waived from payments due General Contractor. The credit shall be in the amount stated by the governmental agency waiving the fee.
B. General Contractor shall give all notices and comply with all laws, ordinances, codes, rules and regulations bearing on the conduct of the Work. If General Contractor observes or should have observed that the Drawings and Specifications are at variance with them, General Contractor shall, in writing, promptly notify Architect, and any necessary changes shall be made in the Work. General Contractor shall bear all costs and expenses arising from any Work performed that is contrary to those laws, ordinances, codes, rules and regulations.
C. General Contractor shall comply with the current regulations of the National Board of Fire Underwriters where applicable to the Project, and all other codes named in the Specifications for the various divisions of the Work.

8.2 Any re-inspection fees charged to the Owner for inspection of work that fails to pass the initial inspection will be deducted from the Contract amount.

If Contractor proceeds with the Work in question without resolution of the conflict, Contractor will be solely liable for any costs, fines, penalties, or damages that accrue, including costs for remedial work required to comply with such requirements.

D.2. B. The Contractor shall perform all work in full compliance with local, federal, tribal, and Washington State laws, codes, resolutions, and regulations and with license and permit conditions pertaining to the Work. The Contractor shall defend, indemnify and the hold County harmless from any assessment of fines, penalties or damages arising from the same by the Contractor. The Contractor shall pay and provide proof of payment of any such assessments of fines, penalties, or damages. The Contractor shall cooperate with all government entities regarding inspection of the Work and compliance with such requirements.
C. The Contractor is required to pay all applicable taxes. No adjustment will be made in the amount to be paid by the County under the Contract because of any change in law or regulation covering any applicable taxes, except sales tax, or because of any misunderstanding by the Contractor as to its liability for or the amount of taxes.
