Permitted Activities During Working Hours. Upon notification to the Fire Chief, the Union representative will be permitted reasonable time during duty hours, without loss of pay or benefits, to investigate, process, and attend hearings or meetings on grievances, but in such a way that will not unnecessarily interfere with fire and rescue operations.

Permitted Activities During Working Hours. Upon timely notification to the appropriate Department Head(s), a Bargaining Unit staff representative and a maximum of one (1) Employee, who is either the local Bargaining Unit president or a xxxxxxx will be permitted reasonable time during duty hours, without loss of pay or benefits to investigate, process, and attend hearings or meetings on grievances with an Employee who files a grievance, but only in such a way that will not unreasonably interfere with City operations.
Permitted Activities During Working Hours. Upon notification to the Chief of Police, Lieutenant, or Acting Watch Commander of the City, one (1) local union representative will be permitted reasonable time during duty hours without loss of pay or benefits to investigate, process, and attend hearings or meetings on grievances. The representative shall be allowed reasonable time to investigate grievances and process grievances with the employee in such a way that will not unnecessarily interfere with police operations.
