PERS Contribution. Each unit member shall pay the full member contribution to PERS equal to eight percent (8%) of the compensation paid the member for service rendered, with state and federal income tax on the PERS members contribution deferred to the extent permitted by Internal Revenue Code, 26 USC Section 414(h)(2).
PERS Contribution. As required by Government Code Section 7522.30, all bargaining unit members covered by this Section 6.1.3 shall pay, through payroll deductions, fifty percent (50%) of the normal costs rate of the “new member” plan.
PERS Contribution. The City will continue to participate in the Oregon Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) or its successor as determined by the State of Oregon for the life of this Agreement. The employee’s 6% contribution shall be paid by the City. If the employee’s contribution increases during the life of this Agreement, the parties agree to reopen this Section of the Agreement and bargain the change.
PERS Contribution. PERS Contribution. The six percent (6%) employee contribution to PERS will be paid by the District.
PERS Contribution. All employees in the Bargaining Unit shall be covered under the Oregon Public Employees Retirement System (PERS). PERS eligible employees shall contribute 6% of their gross wages to PERS through payroll deduction.
PERS Contribution. The District shall pay for 100% of the required Public Employees Retirement System contribution. A change in the percentage of compensation to be contributed to PERS shall not result in an automatic change in the salary schedule but rather shall be considered to have been a negotiated adjustment to compensation.
PERS Contribution. 1. Effective July 1, 2015, t he CSEA salary schedule shall be increased by seven percent (7%), across the board.
2. CSEA bargaining unit members identified as “Classic Members” under the PEPRA shall pay the employee share of the PERS contribution equal to seven percent (7%), effective July 1, 2015. New members also will pay their employee share of the PERS contribution, as required by XXXXX.
PERS Contribution. The District and the Association agree to the following steps for the purpose of terminating the CalPERS Employer Paid Member Contribution (EPMC) program.
3.5.1 The 2015-2016 “PERS MEMBERS BEFORE JANUARY 1, 2013” salary schedule shall be increased by 5.75% as soon as practicable following final ratification of the 2015-2016 negotiated agreements with all District bargaining units and no later than January 1, 2016. This increase shall be applied prospectively from its implementation date. Upon implementation, this salary schedule shall be renamed as the “Classified Salary Schedule.”
3.5.2 Effective on the implementation date described in Section 3.5.1 above, the District shall no longer pay classified bargaining unit members’ share of the monthly PERS contribution. Instead, all unit members shall, commencing with such effective date, pay their legally required member contribution to the CalPERS pension program, thereby terminating the CalPERS Employer Paid Member Contribution (EPMC) program.
3.5.3 Effective on the implementation date described in Section 3.5.1 above, unit members on the “NON-PERS MEMBERS and PERS MEMBERS AFTER January 1, 2013” salary schedule shall be transferred to the corresponding range and step on the new “Classified Salary Schedule” established pursuant to Section 3.5.1 above.
3.5.4 Effective on the implementation date described in Section 3.5.1 above, The “NON-PERS MEMBERS and PERS MEMBERS AFTER JANUARY 1, 2013” salary schedule shall be eliminated.
3.5.5 Effective on the implementation date described in Section 3.5.1 above, all longevity increments will be based on Section 3 of the new “Classified Salary Schedule” established pursuant to Section 3.5.1 above.
PERS Contribution. Effective July 1, 2011, all employees in the bargaining unit shall pay an additional four percent (4%) contribution toward the employee cost of PERS, with state and federal income tax deferred to the extent permitted by Internal Revenue Code, 26 USC Section 414(h)(2). The total employee contribution shall be twelve percent (12%) of eligible compensation, effective on July 1, 2011. The additional four percent (4%) contribution will terminate June 30, 2013.
