Personal Gain Clause Samples

The Personal Gain clause prohibits individuals involved in an agreement from using their position or access to confidential information for their own benefit beyond what is permitted by the contract. In practice, this means that employees, contractors, or representatives must not exploit company resources, insider knowledge, or business opportunities for personal enrichment or to benefit third parties without authorization. This clause serves to prevent conflicts of interest and protect the integrity of the business relationship by ensuring that all actions taken are in the best interest of the organization, not for individual advantage.
