Common use of Personal Holiday Clause in Contracts

Personal Holiday. Regular employees whose budgeted full-time equivalent (FTE) is equal to or greater than 0.5 (50%) are entitled to one (1) personal holiday each calendar year. Such holiday is to be taken during the calendar year in which the holiday is earned and may not be carried forward into the following year. The personal holiday shall be scheduled in accordance with Article 7, Section 4, Scheduling Vacations.

Such holiday holidays are is to be taken during the calendar year in which the holiday is earned and may not be carried forward into the following year. The personal holiday shall be scheduled by the department head in a manner consistent with the scheduling of vacation leave accordance with Article 7, Section 4, Scheduling Vacations.
