PERSONAL/XXXXX’S LEAVE AND COMPASSIONATE LEAVE. The National Employment Standards (NES) apply to all employment contracts as a minimum and the template enterprise agreement contains the NES terms. The Pastoral Award 2020 contains the NES about personal/carer’s leave. The Pastoral Award 2020 applies to all national system employers in the dairy industry for all employees in the classifications set out in the award. (See note 4) Whilst the NES is a minimum, employers may wish to consider offering extra personal/carer’s leave as part of a package. The NES & The Pastoral Award 2020 Personal/ Carer's Leave and Compassionate Leave Under the NES, employees (other than casual employees) are entitled to 10 days paid personal/ carer’s leave for each year of service.
