Personnel Qualifications and Training. Contractor personnel shall have the experience and training necessary to understand the scope, complexity, and special requirements of waste management and environmental compliance reporting. Qualifications and training requirements for Contractor personnel involved in waste management are indicated throughout the ROWMP and generally summarized in Table 1.5.3-1 of the ROWMP. The Contractor shall ensure that all personnel working with contaminated media and/or involved in hazardous waste operations receive and maintain all required federal, state, and local regulatory compliance training appropriate to their tasks, maintain training documentation, and make training records available to the Government upon request. Training may include, but not be limited to, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training (e.g., initial 40- Hour, Annual 8-Hour Refresher, Supervisor, medical surveillance), RCRA-Waste Generator training, and Department of Transportation (DOT) training.
