Placement of Material in File. Any evaluative or disciplinary material placed in the file shall be signed and dated by the administrator, and acknowledged by the employee, with a copy of such material to be given to the employee.

The Teacher shall have the right during regular business hours to examine his/her complete personnel file upon request, provided such review does not interfere with the instructional program. The Administration may have a representative present at such review. The Teacher may have an Association representative present. If any item is placed in a Teacher’s personnel file, a copy of the item and notice thereof shall be provided to the Teacher by placing it in his/her school mailbox or personally delivering the same within three (3) business days of its placement. If the placement occurs during the summer, the Teacher will be notified by U.S. mail or personal delivery within ten (10) business days of its placement.
