Jury Duty and Subpoena. An employee is entitled to salary, notwithstanding absence from duty by reason of a summons to serve as a juror or a subpoena as a witness in any proceedings to which the employee is not a party or one of the persons charged, provided that the employee pays to the Board any fee, exclusive of travelling allowances, and living expenses, that is received as a juror or as a witness.
