Preliminary Design Development. The deliverable stages for PE design of the Gideon Overcrossing will be the 10% and 30% stages.
Preliminary Design Development. XXXX & XXXX will review the project limits and existing conditions through site visits and analysis of COUNTY- provided data, drawings, and other information. XXXX & XXXX will coordinate with existing utility owners within the project area to identify potential impacts and conflicts of the sanitary sewer main replacement design. Based on the topographic survey and SUE Level B work and consultation with vendors and contractors, if required, XXXX & XXXX will prepare 30% level design drawings that reflect the general intent of the design approach. • Identification of pipe sections proposed for open cut and pipe-bursting • Identification of temporary impacts to existing facilities (above and below ground) • Identification of the proposed construction materials These design drawings will present the project at an approximate 30% design completion level. An electronic version of the drawings will be submitted to the COUNTY for review and comment. XXXX & XXXX will schedule and attend a Preliminary Design Review Meeting to review any COUNTY comments and agree on the design approach, methodologies, construction impacts, and materials specified. Comments received will be incorporated into the subsequent 90% design documents. Deliverables – Preliminary Design • 30% Design Drawings (Electronic delivery) • Preliminary Design Review Meeting Summary (Electronic delivery) • Final Preliminary Design Report (Electronic delivery) Task 1 – 90% Design Development XXXX & XXXX will develop 90% design drawings that reflect the design approach agreed to in the Preliminary Design Phase. The design criteria, standards and details will conform to the COUNTY’s “Technical Manual for Design and Construction of Water, Wastewater, and Reclaimed Water Facilities for Pasco County Utilities” (latest addition) and other applicable COUNTY standards. Other notes, details and specifications required but not included in COUNTY standards will be shown on the design plan drawings. No project technical specifications (book spec’s) will be included as this project will be constructed by one of the COUNTY’s “on-call” contractors. The 90% submittal package will be submitted electronically to the COUNTY for review and comment. The submittal will include the items shown in the deliverable section below. It is assumed the COUNTY will conduct their review in a two-week period.   • Preliminary Design § 4.3.1 Upon the Owner’s issuance of a written consent to proceed under Section 4.2.3, the Design-Builder shall prepare and submit a Preliminary Design to the Owner. The Preliminary Design shall include a report identifying any deviations from the Owner’s Criteria, and shall include the following:

  • Design Development Phase INDICATE IN STATEMENT OF WORK “NOT APPLICABLE” IF SECTION IS NOT APPLICABLE

  • Preliminary Engineering In order to receive City review and approval of the Extensions, Developer shall furnish two (2) copies of the plat map, topographic map and proposed roads profile sheets in electronic format prior to the City’s ordering of the engineering plans from its Engineer. The contour elevation and road profile elevations shall be referenced to NAVD ‘88 datum. In the event Developer’s engineer prepares the construction plans and specifications, the above information shall be a part of the extension construction plans to be reviewed and approved by the City’s Engineer. The final plat map shall be to the scale of 1-inch = 20 feet. The contour map shall have a scale of 1-inch = 20 feet and contour intervals of two (2) feet or less. The road profile sheets shall be to the scale of 1-inch = 20 feet. Developer shall provide a minimum of one benchmark, datum being NAVD ‘88, on the project site; and the elevation and location of the benchmark shall be indicated on the maps furnished by Developer.
