Preparation and Training. The A-E shall review the monthly SPCC inspection reports (completed by OC Waste & Recycling personnel during the previous year and submitted to CUPA for all three active landfills), as well as review any new and/or pending legislation that may impact future CUPA requirements. The A-E shall submit a draft of the training presentation to OC Waste & Recycling for review prior to each of the three training sessions. The A-E shall give three annual SPCC training presentations each summer (total of nine separate training sessions), no later than the 31st of August of 2015, 2016, and 2017. Each training shall consist of no less than a PowerPoint presentation, designed to last 60-90 minutes in length, which covers, at a minimum:

Preparation and Training. In order to launch the partnership successfully and prepare City Year AmeriCorps members to be an integrated part of the school’s instructional program: • The City Year team will participate in summer training and on-going professional development opportunities, which will be discussed and scheduled by the school liaison and City Year staff. The School Partner will provide training for AmeriCorps members on the school's core curriculum in ELA and Math, as well as training on any supplemental programs used for student intervention. • The School Partner will provide an orientation to the any/all of the school's climate and student engagement initiatives, socio-emotional learning programs, student behavior policies, student support referral systems, attendance support initiatives, and attendance policies. This will happen virtually if necessary. • The School Partner will introduce the AmeriCorps members to any outside afterschool program providers and/or orient them to afterschool program curricula. This will happen virtually if necessary. • The School Partner and City Year will design and implement an orientation for the school staff and the City Year team. City Year will participate in the school's orientation for faculty and staff during which the City Year team will host an orientation for the School Partner faculty and staff to introduce the teachers and school staff to the City Year AmeriCorps members, build team and share a plan for the year. The School Partner will introduce the AmeriCorps members to the school's vision and basic operations. This will happen virtually if necessary. • The School Partner will inform the City Year team of the school emergency/safety plan policy, mandated reporting procedures and any information relevant to their interactions with students and staff. This will happen in person if necessary. Material Support School agrees to provide the City Year Team with: • Consistent tutoring space, which includes tables or desks and chairs, that is reasonably free of distraction. • Dedicated closed-door planning and meeting space including a secure storage space for personal belongings and service-related materials. • Dedicated space to lead after-school/enrichment activities. • Regular access to an adequate number of computers, internet and telephones that have external access capabilities, following the school's established protocols. • Access to copier and office supplies as necessary to support the team. • Access to service-related...

Preparation and Training. The Organization will (a) be primarily responsible for the Participants' learning experiences and provide faculty sufficient to effectively implement the Experiential Learning Program; (b) provide the Participants with objective guidelines and contact information to the supervisors working with the Program; (c) Furnish Walgreen with a schedule of dates and hours for practical experience, as well as a list of names and contact information of participating Participants and faculty; and (d) coordinate with Walgreen personnel for preparation and evaluation of the Program.

  • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.

  • Education and Training The foundation of this Program is education and voluntary compliance. It is recognized that alcohol and chemical dependency may make voluntary cessation of use difficult, and one of the Program’s principal aims is to make voluntary steps toward ending substance abuse easily available. The outside contractor shall review and develop on-going educational and training information on the adverse consequences of substance abuse and the responsibility to avoid being under the influence of alcohol or chemicals at work. Certain training required by the DOT Regulations shall be the responsibility of the Substance Abuse Program.

  • Staff Training 3.3.5.1 The CONTRACTOR shall provide regular and ongoing comprehensive training for CONTRACTOR staff to ensure that they understand the goals of Centennial Care 2.0, including the integration of physical, Long-Term Care and Behavioral Health, the provisions and limitations of the ABP and the requirements of this Agreement. As issues are identified by the CONTRACTOR and/or HSD, the CONTRACTOR shall provide timely and targeted training to staff.

  • EDUCATION AND TRAINING TRUST FUND 39.01 The Employer shall contribute four hundred ($400.00) dollars per calendar year into the United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local No. 832, Education and Training Trust Fund.

  • Professional Development and Training 4.1 The purpose of professional development and training requirements for interpreters is to maintain the skill levels interpreters possess at the time they pass their interpreter certification examination, and to further enhance their skills and knowledge. Both the State and the Union encourage interpreters to complete training and continuing education activities.

  • EDUCATION AND TRAINING FUND 22.01 i) The Employer shall contribute to the Union the sum of Five cents ($.05) per hour per full- time employee for each hour worked for education and training of Union members.

  • Cross Training (a) The parties recognize the importance of cross training to ensure that employees are properly trained for backup and for promotions. When the Employer identifies a cross training opportunity the Employer shall provide each regular employee written notification of the cross training opportunity in following with 6.02(a). The Employer undertakes to cross train employees on the basis of seniority and the ability to do the job within a reasonable period of time.

  • Driver Training A. All drivers are to be provided with appropriate training and refresher courses each year in the following areas as a minimum: * Proper use of equipment including communications equipment; * Defensive driving; * Emergency and accident procedures; * Identifying unusual passenger behavior; * Student harassment and bullying; * Conducting evacuation drills; * Sensitivity training in working with disabled persons; * Human relation skills in working with parents, school staff, etc; * General vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections; and * Map reading and city street coordinates. The Department of Business and Transportation Services may review Contractors’ bus driver training program, upon request.

  • Job Training The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes:

  • STUDENTS AND TRAINEES 1. Payments which a student, business apprentice or trainee who is or was immediately before visiting a Contracting State a resident of the other Contracting State and who is present in the first-mentioned State solely for the purpose of his education or training receives for the purpose of his maintenance, education or training shall not be taxed in that State, provided that such payments arise from sources outside that State.
