Privacy Act 1993. 13.1 If the Hirer is an individual, this clause 13.1 applies. The Owner requires personal information and will collect and hold personal information about the Hirer, principally for the purpose of evaluating the hire of equipment by the Hirer. The Hirer’s application to hire equipment may be declined or the hire terminated if the Hirer fails to provide requested personal information. The Hirer can access and seek correction of any personal information by contacting the Owner. The Hirer agrees that its personal information may be used by the Owner to advise the Hirer of the Owner’s other goods and services. The Hirer authorises the disclosure of personal information held by any other party regarding any previous hire contracts entered into by the Hirer. The Hirer agrees to the Owner releasing to other parties’ information regarding the Contract if the Hirer does not comply with its obligations.

Privacy Act 1993. 11.1 All information obtained by the owner in respect of the renter and in particular the renter/s financial circumstances, is for the owner/s requirements to determine the credit worthiness of the renter. The renter authorises the owner to exchange this information with a credit agency. The renter understands that if the renter defaults on any payment under this Agreement, that default may be listed with a credit agency. Any information provided to a credit agency is available by other users of that agency/s services.
Privacy Act 1993. 11.1 The Customer irrevocably authorises any person or company to provide Get Gas with such information as it may require in response to its credit enquiries. The Customer further irrevocably authorises Get Gas to furnish to any third party details of this Credit Application and these Terms and subsequent dealings that the Customer may have with Get Gas as a result of this Credit Application and these Terms being actioned by Get Gas. Such authorisation being required to ensure compliance with the Privacy Act 1993.
Privacy Act 1993. 13.1 The Company will hold any personal information received from the Buyer for marketing, product development, account administration and credit purposes. The Company may disclose personal information about the Buyer to any person the Buyer names as a credit referee or to any person for the purpose of securing the Company’s security interest granted pursuant to the Agreement. Failure by the Buyer to supply personal information for these purposes entitles the Company to withdraw or refuse credit to the Buyer and to repossess any Goods in the possession or control of the Buyer.
