Professional Design Services. District will not require Contractor to perform professional services which constitute the practice of architecture, engineering, or surveying unless such services are specifically required by the Contract Documents as a part of the Work or unless Contractor must provide such services in order to carry out Contractor’s responsibilities under the Contract. District shall specify performance and design criteria that such professional services must satisfy.

Professional Design Services. Design-Builder shall provide all professional design services needed to fully and completely design, describe, and document the Work indicated in this Agreement (“Design Services” or “Basic Design Services”) as those Design Services are further detailed in Article XVI, in Supplement A, and elsewhere in this Agreement – and as they may be modified from time-to-time by Change Order executed in accordance with Article VIII. a. Design-Builder shall be fully responsible to UGAA for Design Professional’s performance, including without limitation, its preparation of clear Construction Documents indicating Work that is constructible, capable of being built during the Contract Time, and capable of being built in a cost-effective manner. Nothing in this Agreement or any Subcontract related to it shall be construed to relieve Design-Builder of these obligations; and Design-Builder is liable for any breach of Design Professional’s duties as set forth herein and under Law. b. Design-Builder may provide Design Services using in-house personnel employed by Design-Builder in those cases where: (a) Design Services are personally supervised and directed by the individual Design Professional of Record (“DPR”); (b) the DPR also owns controlling (i.e., majority) interest in Design- Builder’s business organization and has the authority to freely and fully exercise his or her professional judgment in all matters relating to this Project; and (c) state laws and regulations governing the discipline practiced by Design Professional permit the lawful provision of Design Professional’s Design Services as required herein. All rights of approval given UGAA herein shall apply as well to UGAA’s right to accept or reject Design-Builder’s in-house provision of Design Services. All obligations imposed upon Design-Builder with respect to those Design Services remain applicable without regard as to whether the Design Services are provided in-house or under the auspices of a Subcontractor.
Professional Design Services provide professional engineering process development and design phase services to develop and assemble fabrication drawings, equipment specifications and project requirements as well as provide construction phase professional support services.
Professional Design Services. 5.4.1 Compile, monitor, review and update building and property management related programmes to maximise the benefit of approved expenditure. This includes the provision of a multi-discipline, professional and technical service covering all aspects of new build, alteration and adaptation works. 5.4.2 Provide a comprehensive range of services associated with the designing and commissioning of building projects as required in liaison with AVJB at fee levels appropriate to work required.
Professional Design Services. The Professional Design Services item is estimated as part of the Not-To-Exceed Contract Price. This estimate shall be regarded as a Not-To-Exceed number, against which only actual Project Costs will be charged. If professional design services are provided by DB Entity staff, the DB Entity will invoice at the DB Entity’s hourly billing rates and may not charge an overhead and profit flat fee on this category. If professional design services are provided by a Subcontractor, the DB Entity will invoice according to the subcontract terms.

  • Design Services The Engineer shall perform services during the schematic design phase, the design development phase, the contract documents phase, and the bidding period as hereinafter specified.

  • Surgery Services This plan covers surgery services to treat a disease or injury when: • the operation is not experimental or investigational, or cosmetic in nature; • the operation is being performed at the appropriate place of service; and • the physician is licensed to perform the surgery. This plan covers reconstructive surgery and procedures when the services are performed to relieve pain, or to correct or improve bodily function that is impaired as a result of: • a birth defect; • an accidental injury; • a disease; or • a previous covered surgical procedure. Functional indications for surgical correction do not include psychological, psychiatric or emotional reasons. This plan covers the procedures listed below to treat functional impairments. • abdominal wall surgery including panniculectomy (other than an abdominoplasty); • blepharoplasty and ptosis repair; • gastric bypass or gastric banding; • nasal reconstruction and septorhinoplasty; • orthognathic surgery including mandibular and maxillary osteotomy; • reduction mammoplasty; • removal of breast implants; • removal or treatment of proliferative vascular lesions and hemangiomas; • treatment of varicose veins; or • gynecomastia.

  • Hospice Services Services are available for a Member whose Attending Physician has determined the Member's illness will result in a remaining life span of six months or less.

  • Outside Services Consultant shall not use the service of any other person, entity, or organization in the performance of Consultant’s duties without the prior written consent of an officer of the Company. Should the Company consent to the use by Consultant of the services of any other person, entity, or organization, no information regarding the services to be performed under this Agreement shall be disclosed to that person, entity, or organization until such person, entity, or organization has executed an agreement to protect the confidentiality of the Company’s Confidential Information (as defined in Article 5) and the Company’s absolute and complete ownership of all right, title, and interest in the work performed under this Agreement.

  • Telemedicine Services This plan covers clinically appropriate telemedicine services when the service is provided via remote access through an on-line service or other interactive audio and video telecommunications system in accordance with R.I. General Law § 27-81-1. Clinically appropriate telemedicine services may be obtained from a network or non- network provider, and from our designated telemedicine service provider. When you seek telemedicine services from our designated telemedicine service provider, the amount you pay is listed in the Summary of Medical Benefits. When you receive a covered healthcare service from a network or non-network provider via remote access, the amount you pay depends on the covered healthcare service you receive, as indicated in the Summary of Medical Benefits.   • Professional Services Fees You agree to pay us the professional services fees in the amounts set forth in the Investment Summary. Those amounts are payable in accordance with our Invoicing and Payment Policy. You acknowledge that the fees stated in the Investment Summary are good-faith estimates of the amount of time and materials required for your implementation. We will bill you the actual fees incurred based on the in-scope services provided to you. Any discrepancies in the total values set forth in the Investment Summary will be resolved by multiplying the applicable hourly rate by the quoted hours.

  • Autism Services This plan covers the following services for the treatment of autism spectrum disorders. • Applied behavior analysis when provided and/or supervised by an individual licensed by the state in which the service is rendered. See the Summary of Medical Benefits for the amount that you pay. • Physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services when rendered as part of the treatment of autism spectrum disorder. A benefit limit will not apply to these services. • Psychological and psychiatric services, and prescription drugs are also covered. See Behavioral Health Services and Prescription Drugs and Diabetic Equipment or Supplies for additional information. Coverage for autism spectrum disorders does not affect any obligation of a school district, a state or other governmental entity to provide services to an individual under an individualized family service plan, an individualized education program, or similar services required under state or federal law. Services related to autism that are furnished by school personnel are not covered under this plan.

  • Laboratory Services Covered Services include prescribed diagnostic clinical and anatomic pathological laboratory services and materials when authorized by a Member's PCP and HPN’s Managed Care Program.
