Professional/Licensing Fees. The Employer shall reimburse eligible Employees within 31 days of submission of proof of payment, or pay directly to the appropriate body annual costs associated with professional or licensing fees that Employees are required to pay by either statute or the Employer. Eligible Employees shall include all permanent full and part time Employees plus all other Employees who have worked a minimum of twenty percent (20%) of full-time hours during the previous licensing year applicable to their profession. For EMS employees that have worked less than twenty percent (20%) of full time hours during the previous licensing year, the Employer agrees to pay the professional or licensing fees. This provision shall not include the cost of vehicle operator licenses.

Eligible Employees are solely responsible for completing the necessary application forms and submitting them to the Employer in a timely manner and the Employer shall remit payment in a timely manner. This provision shall not include the cost of vehicle operator licenses.

.01 The Employer will reimburse the costs, up to a maximum of $200 per year for reimbursement of all costs incurred by employees who are required to maintain their Gas Tech/IMT Certification and Operating Engineer License as a condition of employment at the University. A year shall be considered from July 1 to June 30.
.02 Employees will be required to show a current certificate or license to the Employer, and will provide proof of renewal prior to the expiry of the previous license or membership on an annual basis, or such other time period as mandated by the regulating authority. Proof of renewal will be provide prior to the expiry of the previous license or membership.

The Township shall reimburse all full-time employees for professional licensing fees, where such license is a requirement of the employee's job description and professional organization memberships directly related to the required license, subject to the availability of funds. This article shall not apply to driver's licenses or similar nonprofessional licenses. Employees taking continuing education classes to maintain professional licenses required by the township, as a condition of employment, shall not be charged time.
