Professional Skill Compensation. Additional compensation may be provided for bargaining unit employees who achieve and maintain certain certifications, licenses and qualifications as listed in Appendixes. Opportunities to maintain Skill Levels will be provided in accordance with Article 8, Section 8.10 (Employee Duties and Responsibilities). The Company reserves the right to limit the overall number of eligible persons, dictate the need for certification(s), and to establish a minimum and maximum level of specific certification(s)/qualifications needed to support AMWTP business needs. Once these decisions have been made, the LMC will develop a plan to distribute these opportunities fair and equitably. Professional Skill Compensation is an hourly premium rate and will not be factored into pay for overtime or any other premium pay or benefits program. All current qualification pay premiums will continue until the expiration of the qualifications. Skill/Certifications Eligible for Professional Skill Compensation is:  National Registry of Radiation Protection Technologists (NRRPT) will receive $2.00 per hour. An employee earning the NRRPT qualification pay is not eligible for any other additional skill pay. *Rad Con Tech II personnel who do not possess or receive the NRRPT qualification may be eligible for additional skill pay of $0.50 per qualification up to $1.50 per hour for earning additional skills. See Appendix A for a listing of the additional skills/qualifications.  *Operations Technician II personnel who complete the core skills for their respective area may earn additional skill pay of $0.50 per qualification up to $1.50 per hour. See Appendix B for a listing of the specific classification core and additional skills/qualifications.  *Maintenance Technician II personnel who obtain and maintain any of the following certifications, licenses, or qualifications, above the core qualifications, may receive $0.50 for each one obtained up to $1.50 per hour. See Appendix C for a listing of the specific classification core and additional skills/qualifications.  *Maintenance Technician I personnel who complete their ITP for their respective classification may earn additional skill pay of $0.50 per qualification up to $1.50 per hour.   • Professional Skill It is mutually agreed by the parties that City is relying upon the professional skill of the consultant as a specialist in the work, and Consultant represents to the City that its work shall conform to the normal professional standards of the profession. Acceptance of the Consultant's work by the City does not operate as a release of Consultant's representations. It is intended that Consultant's work shall conform to normal standards of accuracy, completeness and coordination.

  • PROFESSIONAL COMPENSATION A. The basic salaries of teachers covered by this Agreement are set forth in Appendix A which is attached to and incorporated in this Agreement. Such salary schedule shall remain in effect during the designated periods.

  • Management skills (i) These positions require skills in managing time, setting priorities and planning and organising one’s own work and that of supervised employees so as to achieve specific and set objectives in the most efficient way possible within the resources available and within a set timetable.

  • SPECIAL SKILLS Five percent (5%) of the employees (not less than one person) to be laid off within a class within an agency shall be exempt from the seniority factor when the State determines that there is a need for special skills. “Special skills” refers to jobs difficult to fill with a replacement except after extensive training. Where practical, the State will attempt to meets its “special skills” requirements be exempting the employees with the highest seniority among employees with the same special skills. Management decisions on special skills shall be subject to expedited arbitration provided, however, that no back pay remedy shall accrue to any individual employee.

  • Specialized Skills Each certificated support person demonstrates in his/her performance a competent level of skill and knowledge in designing and conducting specialized programs of prevention, instruction, remediation and evaluation.

  • Multi-Skilling 37.1 Subject to appropriate qualifications, training and taking into account a Teacher’s long term career path opportunities, the Employer may transfer Teachers to teach their Approved Program in part or in whole in another location or discipline other than the one to which they currently belong.

  • Apprenticeships and Skills 6.1 The Authority will review the Contractor’s Apprenticeships and Skills Report when submitted by the Contractor in accordance with the Schedule (Apprenticeships and Skills Requirements) and then annually thereafter.

  • Standard of Services All services to be rendered by SCM hereunder shall be performed in a professional, competent and timely manner subject to the supervision of the Board of Directors of the Corporation on behalf of the Funds. The details of the operating standards and procedures to be followed by SCM in the performance of the services described above shall be determined from time to time by agreement between SCM and the Corporation.

  • Services and Compensation Consultant agrees to perform for the Company the services described in Exhibit A (the “Services”), and the Company agrees to pay Consultant the compensation described in Exhibit A for Consultant’s performance of the Services.

  • Specialist knowledge and skills Indicative but not exclusive tasks include: the undertaking of semi-skilled work, including cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, washing and ironing, shopping, sweeping paths, minor maintenance jobs, preparation and cooking of meals, defrosting refrigerators, emptying and cleaning of commodes, banking and account payment, organising appointments, assistance with care of pets, and care of indoor and outdoor pot plants.
