Multi-Skilling. 37.1 Subject to appropriate qualifications, training and taking into account a Teacher’s long term career path opportunities, the Employer may transfer Teachers to teach their Approved Program in part or in whole in another location or discipline other than the one to which they currently belong. 37.2 Teachers transferred pursuant to subclause 37.1 of this clause shall have a right to a review of their position each year in consultation with relevant TAFE Officers.

Multi-Skilling. For the purpose of increasing productivity and flexibility, as well as enhancing career opportunities for employees, multi-skilling will extend by agreement to allow employees to perform agreed tasks within the scope of their skills and competence. Agreement has been reached for employees to perform a wider range of tasks and participate in additional training as necessary. Xxxxxx Bros may direct any employee to carry out such duties as are reasonably within the limits of the employee’s skill, competence and training and shall be consistent with Xxxxxx Bros responsibilities to provide a safe and healthy working environment as well as ensuring fully productive employees at all times.
Multi-Skilling. 9.1 Following the provision of adequate in-house training where necessary, all classifications shall be required to undertake a range of appropriate cross-classification activities, within statutory limitations. 9.2 Employees shall be required to undertake such cross-classification activities in order to complete the whole job or when there is insufficient work in an employee’s normal classification or where the re- allocation of staff is required to meet Departmental emergencies. 9.3 The final responsibility for all such cross-classification activities shall remain with the classification historically responsible for those activities. Notwithstanding this provision any employee who undertakes cross-classification activities in terms of subclause 9.1 is required to carry out those activities in a responsible and competent manner. 9.4 While Apprentice training shall be principally focused on those activities specific to each Apprentice’s trade classification, the Department shall, where possible, coordinate and make available work of a similar nature and skill to that contained in the modules studied from time to time by the Apprentice as part of their external Technical and Further Education studies. 9.5 The work of a ‘similar nature and skill’ referred to in subclause 9.4, shall where appropriate be made available to Apprentices for the purposes of overtime.
Multi-Skilling. Employees may be given the opportunity to develop skills beyond their traditional roles. This is subject to the undertaking of appropriate training and relevant statutory requirements being observed. No employee will be expected to work beyond the level of his or her qualifications and training. Employees commit to undertake extra duties of a broader nature and/or further training as required. There will be no restrictions on any employee working within their skill(s) and classification level.
Multi-Skilling. In recognition of the operational and efficiency requirements of the employer and to create more varied and interesting work environment, it is a condition of employment, subject to appropriate training and competency, that each employee is to be available to work as required at any work within his or her skill level, competence and training consistent with the classification structure of this Agreement. Each employee shall acquire the skills and learn any other job as directed and must provide on the job instruction and/or training as appropriate to another employee as required. Any direction issued by the employer pursuant to the above paragraph shall be consistent with the employer's responsibilities to provide a safe and healthy working environment.
Multi-Skilling. 3.3.1 It is a term of this Agreement that employees be prepared to exercise versatility between tasks in a manner consistent with their skills, competence and training. Traditional demarcation based on job-classifications will not apply and all employees will participate towards the completion of the whole job. 3.3.2 The only criterion for employees to cross skill will be whether or not they have the skills, competence and training to perform the work. Where further training is required to facilitate cross-skilling, it will be provided by the employer and wherever practicable it will be accredited training consistent with State, National Standards, or as deemed appropriate.
Multi-Skilling. The parties agree to the introduction of a multi-skilled workforce structure in which operational skills will be graded and each grade allocated a respective pay rate. The grade structure will be competency based (operational skill) and recognise personal attributes (ability to work and relate to other team members) and industrial knowledge (e.g. first aid, traffic control, health and safety, etc.). Employees will receive training to move up the grade structure increasing both skill level and pay rates. There remains a necessity to maintain operational skill levels and this will involve the rotation of staff and job sharing.

Multi-Skilling. The parties to this Agreement recognise the need for employees to be able to perform a wide range of tasks in the performance of their duties. The Company recognises the value of training to achieve multi-skilling and the importance of training its employees.
Multi-Skilling. This clause applies to all employees bands 1 to 8. The Council may direct an employee to carry out such duties as are within the limits of the employee’s skill. Provided that were an employee is directed to carry out any work within his/her classification Band or work of a lower Band, such work will be performed without reduction in salary. Provided further that where an employee is directed to carry out work of a higher Band, the provisions of clause 24B - Higher duties/mixed functions will apply. Any direction issued under this clause will be consistent with the Council’s obligation to provide a safe and healthy working environment.
Multi-Skilling. 35.1. All employees may be required by the Company, at its discretion and cost, to be multi-skilled and to undertake any level of training necessary to facilitate that multi- skilled requirement, broaden their skills or increase their productivity. 35.2. Employees may be required to work in any area of the Company and undertake any other duties as reasonably required. 35.3. Employees may be required to assist in the training of other employees and labour hire employees, as is deemed necessary or required by the Company. 35.4. These requirements shall all be subject to safe work practices and commensurate with the employee’s training, skill and competence to perform such duties, responsibilities or directions in a satisfactory and safe manner.
