The purpose of the Grants program is to provide for well managed OHV Recreation by providing financial assistance to eligible agencies and organizations that develop, maintain, operate, expand, support, or contribute to well managed, high-quality, OHV Recreation areas, roads, and trails, and to responsibly maintain the wildlife, soils, and habitat of Project Areas in a manner that will sustain long-term OHV Recreation in accordance with the legislative provisions and intent of the Act commencing at PRC Section 5090.01. Staff holding Professional or Advanced Professional certification shall be supported through professional development to address any self-identified or administrative identified areas deemed to be less than distinguished in Domains 2 or 3 of the Xxxxxxxxx Framework. Professional development provided shall include but not be limited to district provided professional development, Association offered professional development, mentoring, and collegial support. All certified staff shall be provided proven, high-quality professional development.
Program Purpose. The purpose of the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program is to perform planned activities for recurring maintenance activities. Implementation of this program results in compliance with codes, permits, and industry standard maintenance practices. Additional results include the ability to predict and manage costs relative to asset lifecycle management. The benefit of running a PM program is a decrease in overall asset lifecycle costs. Additional benefits include identification of system repairs or the failure of associated hardware allowing for proactive repair rather than reactive management. Compliance with codes and permits mitigates fines and other governmental penalties.
Program Purpose. The purpose of this Program is to ensure eligible Texas residents with epilepsy or seizure-like symptoms receive comprehensive outpatient services to prevent, detect, and treat health problems associated with having epilepsy or seizure-like symptoms.
Program Purpose. The purpose of the Department’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is the appropriate prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of employees with alcohol, drug abuse or other biopsychosocial problems that are adversely affecting the employee’s job performance and/or conduct. Biopsychosocial problems may include physical, emotional, financial, marital, family, legal, or vocational issues. Employees who suspect they may have such a problem, even in the early stage, are encouraged to voluntarily seek counseling and information on a confidential basis by contacting the individual(s) designated to provide such services. Supervisors are also encouraged to note when employees appear to be experiencing difficulties for which EAP may provide assistance, and to refer the employee to EAP for assistance. Early intervention may be helpful in returning the employee to full productivity. Employees and supervisors will be informed about the program annually.
