Project Implementation Support e.g. supporting the implementation of transport projects and investment programmes with specialist input in all project areas and in particular procurement, project management, contract management, cost engineering, claims management and institutional arrangements related to EU funded programmes, including capacity–building assignments, resettlement support, social and environmental audits, including gender and mainstreaming.

Project Implementation Support. Provision of support to the PIU to assist the Recipient in the management and implementation of the Recipient’s Respective Parts of the Project and associated Project activities.
Project Implementation Support a) The Consultant shall provide project development support, which will include formulation of development strategy, development of tender strategy, preparation of drawings & estimates required for tendering process, preparation of bid/ contract documents, draft project agreements along with support during evaluation and selection of construction contractor.
b) The submitted drawings should include that, how proposed new facilities are integrated with existing process units both from layout and hydraulic point of view. At least, key plan drawings of the proposed new process units with relevant designs need to be provided.
c) The Consultant may be asked to provide execution supervision & onsite assistance for the rehabilitation works until commissioning of recommended works, if required. (This activity may go beyond 6 months period.)
Project Implementation Support. This includes supporting the implementation of projects in the bio- economy and investment programmes with specialist input in the areas of procurement, contract management, cost analysis and monitoring or engineering and institutional arrangements related to EU funded programmes, , gender mainstreaming, including Technical Assistance grants.
Project Implementation Support. Provision of support to the MRD to, inter alia:
(a) develop detailed surveys and engineering designs;
(b) conduct construction supervision;
(c) monitor contracts deliverables in terms of quantity and quality;
(d) strengthen capacity of local contractors;
(e) strengthen MRD’s financial management and reporting;
(f) strengthen MRD’s capacity in safeguards implementation;
(g) support to MRD in project management; and
(h) undertake outreach and dissemination activities on the sustainable use of water and sanitation facilities.
