Longevity Increment definition

Longevity Increment. All unit members who have completed the required years of District service, as defined below, shall be eligible to receive a longevity increment.

Longevity Increment. All unit members who, at the end of the 1387 pay period (June 27, 1987), have completed the required years of District service, as defined below, shall be eligible to receive a longevity increment effective with the beginning of the 0888 pay period (January 17, 1988).

Longevity Increment shall be construed to mean the amount of money shown on Appendix “B” to be paid in each respective and designated year of the effective life of this agreement determined by the number of years of service completed by an employee as of June 30 of the year preceding the year of increment. Such increment shall not be deemed to increase or modify the salaries as provided in Article VII, D, Appendix “A”, nor shall said increments be cumulative. It is intended that the increment is a one-time annual element of wages which shall terminate upon each annual payment thereof.

• Those members who were receiving Longevity Increment Pay as of July 31, 2011, shall be grandfathered, and effective August 1, 2011 their Longevity Increment Pay shall be reduced by 5% and shall remain frozen at that level and no additional increments shall be earned, as described herein.

• Bargaining unit members shall receive an additional $500 Longevity Increment upon reaching thirty-five (35) years of service and each year thereafter.

• The University will increase the individual 2009-2010 base salaries, including any Longevity Increment adjustments to the base salaries of all full-time employees covered by this Agreement, by three percent (3.0%).

• The base salary shall be: 2020-2021 – $33,610 (2% increase) 2021-2022 – $34,283 (2% increase) 2022-2023 – $34,969 (2% increase) Bargaining unit members shall receive a Longevity Increment of $500 upon reaching thirty (30) years of service with the District and each year thereafter.

Longevity Increment. For all teachers hired on or before June 30, 2012, the District shall pay a longevity increment of .33% (.0033) of the yearly salary multiplied by the number of years of service in the District based upon the following provisions.
