PROVISION OF ACCOMMODATION. If we are unable to provide the Accommodation to you by forces outside our control, we are to use reasonable endeavours to provide you with alternative accommodation (which may not be accommodation owned by us and may not be as convenient as the Accommodation). In exceptional circumstances we reserve the right to move you to alternative accommodation at short notice (which may not be accommodation owned by us and may not be as convenient as the Accommodation). If we are unable to provide you with alternative accommodation you are only responsible for the proportion (which is to be calculated daily) of the Accommodation Fee for the period during which you occupied the Accommodation. If you have paid more than that proportion we are to refund the excess to you. We will not be responsible for any loss or inconvenience suffered because of a failure of supply or service to the Accommodation, supplied by a third party, where such failure is caused by forces beyond our control.

PROVISION OF ACCOMMODATION. The University gives the Resident permission to occupy the Room and to share the occupation of the Premises with other residents. This permission is personal to the Resident and cannot be passed on or assigned to any other person. The Resident must not allow another person to occupy or share occupation of the Room. The Resident agrees that he or she will occupy whichever room within the Premises as the University allocate to him or her and the Resident agrees that he or she will move room if required do so by the University. This will include circumstances where a student has left halls but remains liable for the halls fees as another room will be made available for occupation at the same level of halls fees or less. At the date of this agreement the Room allocated to the Resident is set out on the first page of this Agreement This Licence agreement will run throughout the Licence Period as specified on the first page unless it is brought to an end earlier in accordance with clause 6 below The Resident shall have the right to use the Common Parts in common with the University and other residents The Resident agrees that he or she will permit the University to accommodate another student in the Room that the Resident is occupying where the University requires accommodation for other students. In emergency situations, the resident agrees that he or she will permit the University to accommodate another student in the Room together with the Resident until suitable alternative accommodation can be obtained for that other student.

PROVISION OF ACCOMMODATION. 5.1 The Parties shall comply with the provisions of the Detailed Transition Plan which shall outline the timetable for the vacation of the AUTHORITY Properties and CONTRACTOR Properties by the CONTRACTOR and the occupation of such AUTHORITY Properties and CONTRACTOR Properties by the REPLACEMENT CONTRACTOR. 5.2 The REPLACEMENT CONTRACTOR confirms that it has had the opportunity to inspect the AUTHORITY Properties and the CONTRACTOR Properties and to carry out surveys and valuations of the AUTHORITY Properties and the CONTRACTOR Properties in order to satisfy itself that the AUTHORITY Properties and the CONTRACTOR Properties are suitable for the provision of the Replacement Services. 5.3 The AUTHORITY and the CONTRACTOR shall provide all reasonable assistance to the REPLACEMENT CONTRACTOR in order that the REPLACEMENT CONTRACTOR may occupy the AUTHORITY Properties and the CONTRACTOR Properties (including, where appropriate, the assignment of any lease or licence for the CONTRACTOR Properties listed in Appendix 1 of Schedule K) to provide the Replacement Services from the Retender Cutover Date or such earlier date specified in the Detailed Transition Plan or as the AUTHORITY may require.

PROVISION OF ACCOMMODATION. 1:1 Upon payment of the appropriate charge (plus value added tax) and completion of the House Reception Record Form (HRR form) LHA London Ltd may provide accommodation in hostels from week to week, e.g. 10:30 hours on Saturday to 10:30 hours on the following Saturday (“WEEKLY BASIS”). 1:2 To stay on a WEEKLY BASIS, you must: a) Agree to stay with LHA for a minimum period and to pay at least 1 week in advance and pay the weekly rate deposit on confirmation of booking. Minimum periods are as follows: Standard booking: 14 days. Promotional, online or key worker booking: 8 weeks. b) Either be in employment or be a student c) Residents who book or pay on the weekly rate but either leave prior to the completion of the minimum period or do not take up their booking will forfeit the weekly rate deposit. d) The weekly rate deposit may cover the cost of any breakages, damage or loss to LHA of property or equipment or as listed in 1:2(b) and 1:2(c). The deposit or part thereof can be used in payment or part payment of the charges for the last week or occupancy. e) Assuming compliance with these conditions there is no limitation on the duration of residency with LHA other than hostels designated with maximum stays (see Clause 26) 1:3 If staying on a WEEKLY BASIS you must pay for your accommodation weekly in advance, before the start of the week concerned; normally this will be on the Friday preceding the week in question. References may be required.
PROVISION OF ACCOMMODATION. 13.1 Details of the accommodation available to the Contractor are shown in Appendix D. This accommodation will initially be provided free of charge. However, the Client reserve the right to charge the Contractor at a later date for using the Contract Administration area in FitzRoy House at a rate of £175 per square metre per annum 13.2 The Client will pay directly for the cost of utility services at any accommodation that it provides to the Contractor. 13.3 The Contractor shall comply in all respects with the Client’s policy and Instructions regarding the efficient use of energy.
