Provisions for Termination of an Established Job Sharing Arrangement. Participants or their Supervisors may make application for termination of an established job sharing arrangement to the Job Sharing Committee at least sixty (60) days prior to the anticipated termination date. The Job Sharing Committee will review the application for termination and make a recommendation to the Chief of Police. Notwithstanding should a member be promoted or transferred to another position, the sixty day notice will not apply. If it is agreed to terminate an arrangement and a decision is made to continue job sharing in the unit, the job share position will be posted for five (5) calendar days. If a new partner is chosen, the agreement will continue; if a suitable candidate is not found the remaining job sharer will be given not less than fourteen (14) days notice that the position is reverting back to a full-time position.

  • Certification of Funds; Budget and Fiscal Provisions; Termination in the Event of Non-Appropriation This Agreement is subject to the budget and fiscal provisions of the City’s Charter. Charges will accrue only after prior written authorization certified by the Controller, and the amount of City’s obligation hereunder shall not at any time exceed the amount certified for the purpose and period stated in such advance authorization. This Agreement will terminate without penalty, liability or expense of any kind to City at the end of any fiscal year if funds are not appropriated for the next succeeding fiscal year.
