Public Employee Retirement System. Contractor represents and warrants that (a) Contractor is not active as an employee in the Public Employee Retirement System; (b) Contractor has not received wages from the ESD or any other public entity during this calendar or fiscal year.
Public Employee Retirement System. The College shall participate in the State of Oregon Public Employees Retirement System and shall pay the employee’s contributions to same. Unused accumulated sick leave will be reported upon separation of employment to Oregon PERS pursuant to governing regulations.

Public Employee Retirement System. (“PERS”) CITY shall provide access to Public Employee Retirement System ("PERS") "Fire Safety Employee" retirement plan benefits to all eligible employees. PERS classic employees who are not subject to the Public Employee’s Pension Reform Act (“PEPRA”) will receive the three percent (3%) at age fifty-five (55) formula. Classic employees will pay the entire nine percent (9%) employee contribution. In addition, effective January 1, 2019, classic members will pay an additional three percent (3%) of the employer share as cost sharing under Government Code section 20516(f) for a total employee contribution of twelve percent (12%). Employees who are defined as “new members” under PEPRA will receive the two and seven-tenths percent (2.7%) at age fifty-seven (57) formula. New members will contribute fifty percent (50%) of the total normal cost of the retirement benefit, as determined by PERS.
Public Employee Retirement System. The District will pay the six percent (6%) employee contribution to PERS.

A. During the term of this Agreement, the District will participate in the public employee retirement plans as required by ORS Chapter 238 and 238A that are:
1. in effect, as of the execution date of these Agreement; and
2. as applicable to the employees in the bargaining unit.
B. Any changes in the public employee retirement plans which are enacted during the life of this agreement by statute or administrative rule will apply to the employees covered by those plans.
C. To the extent allowed by law, retiring employees will receive credit for unused sick leave for the purpose of calculating final average salary for PERS benefits.
D. The District does not agree to provide employees any particular level or type of retirement benefits, but only to participate in the public employee retirement plans and make contributions as required by law.
Public Employee Retirement System. It is compulsory for part-time employees of the County of Middlesex to enroll in PERS if they were permanently appointed on or after January 2, 1955, provided they earn at Least $1,500.00 a year and are paid in each quarter of the year.
Public Employee Retirement System. (PERS): During the life of this Agreement, the City will continue to participate in the PERS or its successor for eligible employees. The City will pick up, assume, or pay the employee’s 6% individual retirement contribution to PERS. The City will continue to participate in the sick leave program administered by PERS in accordance with the law.
