Public Holidays Entitlement. Employees not on continuous shift are entitled to time off without loss of pay on all Public Holidays as proclaimed in the relevant State or Territory on which day the employee would normally have worked. Payment at the ordinary rate will be made for a holiday occurring during a period of approved leave without pay which does not exceed fourteen (14) consecutive days. Public Holidays occurring during a period of approved unpaid sick leave are paid.

  • Holiday Entitlement Employees who are laid off within seven (7) working days (except employees subject to dismissal through cause) prior to a Statutory Holiday occurring shall be entitled to such Statutory Holiday with pay.
