PUBLIC SECURITY. The Authority is responsible for the safety and security of large numbers of people at any given time. Any and all staff of Contractors who shall be visiting the facilities of the Authority pursuant to the on-site services of the scope of work herein or for any other reason, are subject to security checks before entering the facilities. In special circumstances and as the Authority deems necessary, the Authority may also require, and the Contractor shall provide, badging of the Contractor’s staff per Authority instructions, deviation of normal route for entry to the facilities, additional sign- in procedures, and delay or postponement of services at the Authority’s request. Other special procedures may be required in which case the Authority and Contractor may mutually amend this Agreement to allow for such consideration.
PUBLIC SECURITY. 3.1: The Union recognizes that strikes or work stoppages are illegal and contrary to public policy in Michigan and that strikes or work stoppages are detrimental to the public safety and welfare. The Union, therefore, agrees that there shall be no interruption of the services performed by employees covered by this Agreement for any cause, whatsoever, nor shall they absent themselves from their work, stop work or abstain in whole or in part from the full, faithful and proper performance of the duties of their employment, or picket the City’s premises while on- duty. The Union further agrees that there shall be no strikes, sit-downs, stay-ins, stoppages of work or any acts that interfere in any manner or to any degree with the services of the City. The occurrence of any such acts or actions prohibited in this section by the Union shall be deemed a violation of this Agreement. Any employee who commits any of the acts prohibited in this section shall be subject to discharge or other disciplinary action as may be determined by the City.
PUBLIC SECURITY. 5.1 It is understood between the parties that the services to be performed by the employees covered by this Agreement pertain to and are essential to the operation of a public utility, and to the health, safety and welfare of the public.
PUBLIC SECURITY. For events with a large number in an attendance (more than 100), the Client must hire private security to ensure public safety during the course of the event. At least one security officer must be hired for the first 150 people, and one additional security officer for every fifty (50) people thereafter, at the Client’s expense (e.g. 151 attendees requires two security officer personnel to supervise the event). Security personnel must be licensed and certified by the Oregon Department of Public Safety and Standards Training and must be working (not just attending) the event. The Client at their option may choose to employ additional security personnel at their own expense.
PUBLIC SECURITY. 24.1 It is understood between the parties that the services to be performed by the employees covered by this Agreement pertain to and are essential to the operation of a public utility and to the health, safety, and welfare of the public. The Union and the Company have negotiated a no strike, no lockout agreement. The IBEW Local 702 agrees that no employees will participate in any work stoppage or slowdown and the Company agrees it will not implement a lockout.
PUBLIC SECURITY. Section 5.0. The Union, its officers, agents, members and employees covered by this Agreement agree as long as this Agreement is in effect that there shall be no strikes, sit-down stoppages of work, boycotts or other unlawful acts that interfere with the Employer's operations and they will take affirmative action to prevent and stop any that occur in disregard of the commitment.
