Qualifications and Licences. An Employee may be required as a condition of their employment to hold qualifications or licences. An Employee must notify the Employer immediately if that licence or qualification is suspended or cancelled or they are disqualified from holding or obtaining that licence or qualification. If a fundamental condition of an Employee’s employment is to hold a qualification or licence, a loss of that qualification or licence may result in termination of employment. If an Employee does not hold the appropriate current qualification or licence, they are strictly forbidden from participating in activities that require that qualification or licence. Such conduct may result in disciplinary action which may include dismissal.

Qualifications and Licences. 13.1 An Employee is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all relevant qualifications and licences which are mandatory to perform their assigned duties, and for providing a copy to the Employer. 13.2 An Employee must inform the Employer as soon as possible: (a) if a mandatory licence or a qualification which entitles to Employee to undertake their duties lawfully, has been suspended, disqualified, cancelled, or restricted; or (b) of any changes to the Employees legal right to undertake the inherent duties of their employed position. 13.3 An Employee whilst restricted, must not perform any duties that are not able to be undertaken lawfully. Failure to comply with subclause 13.2, may result in the Employee with an immediate suspension from their employed duties, until such a time as the restriction/s have been revoked. Disciplinary action may also be undertaken, which may include termination of employment.

Copies of the required qualifications and licences will be supplied to the Company by the employee. An employee must inform the Company as soon as the employee becomes aware that the licence or qualification is suspended or cancelled or the employee becomes disqualified from holding or obtaining that licence or qualification and / or the employee is facing court proceedings where their licence may be suspended or cancelled. (b) If an inherent requirement of the employee's position is to hold a qualification or licence, a loss of that qualification or licence may result in termination of employment. (c) The Company reserves the right to randomly check licence demerit points status and licence validity of employees operating all vehicles and equipment. Employees will provide the Company, through their consent and at the Company’s expense, with a copy of their Driver licence demerit point reading up to twice per year, or on request from Management. Copies supplied to the Company must be dated no more than one week preceding the date of issue to the Company. The Company will handle such records in accordance with its Privacy Policy. (d) If an employee does not hold the appropriate current qualification or licence, the employee is forbidden from participating in activities that require that qualification or licence. Should the employee engage in those activities, such conduct may result in disciplinary action including termination of employment.

Qualifications and Licences. All relevant New South Wales Building and Construction licences, certificates and other required accreditation applicable to the work of the Contractor that is approved for by the Principal must be held by the Contractor. If your organisation is categorised as a Builder and/or as a Trade Contractor by law in New South Wales, you are required to hold the relevant licence class required by NSW Fair Trading applicable to the category of work being undertaken. An Approved Contractor under this arrangement is required to hold the relevant NSW Fair Trading licences and certificates for any work carried out. If an Approved Contractor engages a subcontractor to carry out installation work, both the Approved Contractor and subcontractor must hold the relevant licenses. University graduate, Licences and/or Trade qualifications should be held by the principals or senior staff of the Contractor. Relevant tertiary qualifications or equvalent work experience should be held by technical and support staff of the Contractor.
