Reasons for Leave. A personal leave may be granted for the following reasons: 1. Illness or disability, including pregnancy beyond or in lieu of that covered by PDL leave; 2. Education or training that will benefit the District; or 3. Other personal reasons, such as family care emergencies, provided the needs of the District are considered.
